Raid also works you don’t want to seal weep holes just add some hardware cloth to the hole to allow airflow and keep larger insects out

Novel idea.
However, when i was a kid, my stepdad did this and the bees ended up in our basement. Apparently, when they get sealed in they will find ANY exit they can. Was an interesting morning. Being awoken by your mom screaming because there is a swarm of yellow jackets by the dryer haha

I think it's generally advised not to seal a wasps nest because they usually find a different way out. Iif that way out is a bedroom that could be an issue
