This was engaging, but inconsistent and needlessly cryptic. The mother was suffering from dementia. She was an antagonist, but not a villain. I care for my elderly mother, so the empathy that I should have for the protagonist is not there. The daughter comes across as weak and selfish. A solid reference to the mother's prior sins against the daughter would've helped.

The acting, camera work and effects were quite good.

What an amazing film. It's fortuitous that both mother and daughter were able to understand the deep impact of ingrained behaviour on oneself and on others round them before it became all consuming.
Although a horror story it has an uplifting end in that mother and daughter were able to find a way to end the trauma, allowing the mother to die in peace in the knowledge that her daughter would be able to live her life in peace and freedom.

So basically, the message is that the goddess did help her mom, the best help was to die as she'd stop suffering from her condition only when her soul is freed.The daughter never wanted that that's why the goddess had to force her. Right?

My Father became a burden after my Mother divorced him. Growing up , he often complained about how difficult it was to raise kids. The expenses. Then 3 years ago when he became immobile from aging 74 years old. He demanded my siblings take care of him. Or else, no one would get money from his will. My siblings were too busy raising their kids. The only solution was to send him into a care home as he needed special treatment. He needed to be spoon fed, his nappy changed. My father chose his own care home. Private care which costs 2k per week. He remained in the care home for 3 years before he died. When his house was sold. was only enough to cover the costs of his care. He used his will to get our attention. to help him. But in the end. His money was spent on his care home. All of his life was about money. One time when he said my children stress me they are expensive. I advised him to use condoms ! 😌
