ОтветитьJust say what a tempo is instead of making a segment in your video telling everybody to google it. Nobody would have to ask in the comments or google it if you just did a 5 second summary and gave people an idea of what it is. It’s the time spent lowering the weight, time spent paused at the bottom, time spent lifting the weight, and the time spent paused at the top of the lift. You don’t even have to go into specifics about it. Your giving people your leg day and talking about tempos online people are gonna ask about what you’re talking about if you don’t explain it lol.

ОтветитьAlmost the same. But seated leg press starting off with 175 kilos going up to 255 - last set 10 reps. Then 6 sets calves then glutes with 5 plates each side.

Ответитьstanding calf raises grow the soleus the same as seated, but the gastrocnemius 10x more. Seated calf raises arent worth doing. (This was proven by studies, see Jeff Nippards recent short)

ОтветитьThe bands on the leg press are counterproductive. You’re limiting the amount of weight you are exposed to at the bottom of the rep because you are wasting energy by overloading the top half of the range of motion, that is actually less muscle growth promoting than the bottom half.

ОтветитьI love calves, just hate the DOMS I get from it when I push hard. Also, no great machines for calves at my gym and I don't like doing them e.g., in the Smith machine.
Same for hamstrings. I get little DOMS from curls, but RDLs and I'm out for a week ...
