The conversation about voiced vs unvoiced protagonists/player character was very interesting to listen to! I can't say which I prefer more. I like both a lot but I will say a voiced protag just seems more smooth and natural if that makes sense. One big pro for unvoiced could be the allocation of resources. If the protagonist is unvoiced then that means more time and money can be spent on having more cinematic scenes or more areas to explore. That was my thought on it but maybe I'm wrong. Hopefully someone who has more knowledge on game development can shed some light on this in the future.
