Kat, thanks to you & your awesome videos, I finally became a jumping spider 🕷 mama this past July! I have 2 captive bred female Regal jumpers, & a wild caught female Bold jumper! None of the 3 are fully grown yet tho, but both Regals have molted 3 times since I got them, & the Bold finally molted for me! I love them all so much, & they definitely keep me busy & quite entertained 😂

They have your enclosures now at the pet store near me, as well as the coffin enclosures with purple sparkly background, but they're $80 and i just can't spend that much on one 😭 wish i had the budget like that. Lol

Having kept Nikites, I'd recommend swapping the Carolinensis and Nikites's enclosures. Nikites needs a more arid environment, and Carolinensis does better in a humid one. 😊 Plus Nikites is a small species that really struggles with climbing as they age. (Mine made a safety line of web around his entire enclosure but it would save their energy to make it for them with lace/mesh) And take lots of baby photos! They change colors a lot as they grow!

Many times ive needed to move one and let them hitch a ride on my finger, and even the larger ones have never tried to bite me. They even look right at you too, like "Aight dude im trustin you, bring me to my next destination". They just sorta politely scoot on to your hand, look at you for a sec, then scoot back off once you set them down again. Little buggers have personality, I swear.

They're so cute!!! I saw two baby jumping spiders in consecutive weeks. One was maybe 2mm, and the other one was literally less than 1mm!

i got my grammostola pulchra sling from one love tarantulas at an expo just recently! they’re awesome. as soon as i walked up to their booth they said “i believe you’re looking for this” and handed me my sling. (๑•ᴗ•๑)

I also really want to get a canopy jumping spider! I’ve been keeping regals and bolds, I did have a regal/otiosus hybrid that only passed this week 😢 she gave me a lot of cute babies, I’m so happy her babies look like her

Audaxes r great beginner jumpers but they dont sell well cuz they’re so common in the wild most knowledgable keepers would probably just wait for one to pop up in the wild that isn’t an adult female and keep it
