This movie is the perfect representation of "so bad its good". Might also be a perfect representation of a Dungeons and Dragons session played by a bunch of stoned teenagers with a scenery chewing DM during the 80s 😁

Imagine going to see this at your local cinema back in the day (In the UK for me The Odeon Liverpool around aged 10), with Rank advertising, free film magazine about the movie, choc ices, and movie trailers for Condorman and The Empire Strikes Back!, Pure bliss!

I suppose anybody naming a male child, 'Vultan,' is just asking for trouble, he's bound to be a wrong un with a name like that! It's only a slight improvement on, 'Ming The Merciless,' or Adolf Hitler! Vultan clearly had Darth Vader envy issues going on with his faux Vader helmet. The story has more holes in it than a Swiss cheese, and it's twice as cheesy as a cheese! Still like it though........

Don't worry folks, the Elf didn't really die! He lived on to appear in an episode of, 'Dempsey & Makepeace!' lol :)

Ah,man I remember this movie back on HBO. Freaking awesome movie, me and my friends couldn't get enough of it.

Love this movie....I have seen many times and each time still enjoyable!

It was a neat touch in the “quiet” scenes to have Three Six-Sided Dice, used to roll a Hero’ s Ability Scores, on the table, as an affectionate nod to the “Dungeons & Dragons” roots of this film. 😊🎲🎲🎲

You know, I miss uncomplicated movies like this. Despite its many faults, it’s such good fun, isn’t drenched in tacky CGI, and is endlessly quotable.

The only problem is finding other people who appreciate it as much as you do 😅

Played golf with Ray charlson, always has a funny story to tell then disappears for a few weeks for filming.
