So, tell me how do you start off doing your own stuff? Start with the character design or story?

Yay new video! Love seeing the character designs. Your style is really beautiful and cozy. Usually, I see character sheets done with turn arounds, which I personally find really boring to do. Your character sheets look really fun, so I might give this style a try!

Hope you don't mind me asking but is there are reason in particular why you set the story in Japan? I'm just guessing because of the character's names and thought it was interesting.

Also, a video where we get to see your whole process of drawing a whole page sounds really interesting to me! I would really look forward to that :)

Do you also have sheets for the settings and backgrounds of your story? It could be interesting to know how you came up with the backgrounds!

Watching you draw an entire page would also be nice! But if it's too long maybe you could do it in 2 parts?

Hi! I really liked the video, your characters are so cute!! :0 this is no hate to you ofc or anything but just something i've noticed and I was wondering why there was no diversity or anything amongst your characters? a lot of your characters are of lighter skin tones and there's nothing wrong with that ofc! but it'd be nice to see some more shades and skin colors. even if your world is centered in a mostly homogenous country/place I feel like it's good to reflect real life in this way especially considering the video is on character design!! just a note you don't have to take it!! :)

Hii~~ I found your channel through that longer video you posted recently about your journey as an artist and ive been hooked on your art and story since. Your style is really beautiful and not like anything i see right now, especially for a comic. I was curious about the setting of your story as its clear its one based in reality. Your characters seem to all have Japanese influence in their names and in the school uniform so does your comic take place in Japan or is it just Japanese inspired? Discovered your videos weeks ago and been quietly watching. I love watching your videos while I'm working on writing stories. Find your videos so calming and love your art style like you are inspiring me to pick back up my pencil and draw again.

These character designs are so nice, and your art is really pleasing to look at! It was also really interesting to hear you talk about the design decisions and the philosophy that went into making your characters.

I think my favorite one was Junko. Her design has a lot of personality and reminds me so much of a few different people I've known in my life.

I was hoping this video is an old one and your comic is already out. It's, however, a privilege to see the early stages before you start posting the comic. The character sheets are my cup of tea, really like them.

Your way of distinguishing your characters through their facial features is exactly what I try to do with my characters, which i rarely see in manga style art. This interest in designing characters with distinct features has led me to be a huge admirer of authors of mangas like skip to loafer and dungeon meshi. Aside from mangas, the short animation Puparia from the artist Shingo Tamagawa captures different facial features distinctly, the way I wish i could. He also seems to have my exact taste when it comes to faces. I am curious about the artists who inspire you.
