Hic vērō mīles Reī Pūblicae, mīlitāns in legiōne Jūliī Caesaris in Galliā.
Ēn vidēmus lōrīcam segmentātam in praeclārā Columnā Trajānī dēpictam, haec enim columna triumphālis, in Forō Trajānī Rōmae sita, monumentum ibi positum post victōriam ejusdem prīncipis Trajānī victōriam in Bellō Dācō.

Sounds Italian to me.
He speaks with the pronunciation restituta, not traditional. In Italy you learn Latin with the traditional pronunciation and we Italians are direct descendants of the Romans. 🙂
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.
Amen.
man this is great
Just wrote my Großes Latinums exam as part of my uni program and it's insane how it actually paid off and I can follow and understand what you're saying without a problem.
Gratias plurimas tibi ago propter hanc pelliculam!
Vowel length could use work
It’s cool to hear the true classical, as opposed to ecclesiastical pronunciation.
Ответитьevery man who considers himself a part of european civilization must know how to read in latin
When this man walks into a room, he declares. "This is Rome now."
Please use de Roman Eagle and the SQPR
I am a portuguese native speaker and never studied latin in my life, but understood like 30% or 40% of what you said, sometimes it sounded a lot like portuguese, but then you would start a sentence which sounded completely alien to me.
Desejo aprender Latim. É a língua sagrada da Igreja e melhora o nosso português. O Livro do Napoleão Mendes é o melhor.
My native language is Portuguese and despite only speaking Portuguese and English fluently, I always pay close attention and can get quite a bit of French, Spanish and Italian. It is nice to be able to listen and read the Classic Latin and be able to understand the pronunciation, the silent sound of some consonants like P and V at the beginning of a word and H overall. I will listen a few more times while I read the transcript to see if I’m able to learn and properly read out loud another Classic Latin text. With ChatGPT as a tool it’s easy to get texts in any modern or medieval language but you can’t get the proper pronunciation.
Bene
Wow bellissimo. Ma preferisco il latino ecclesiastico
Testosterone 📈📈📈📈📈📈
It sounds like Italian is the closest of the romance languages to Latin. It make sense since Rome is literally in Italy.
I speak Spanish i understand 60 % or 70%
It’s crazy how much more like Spanish than English Latin sounds like I know it’s a root language of both but it sounds more like Spanish to my ears than like English I can pick out a lot more similar words in Latin here that are nearly unchanged in modern Spanish than anything with English .
Ответитьlearn ancient Latin and you will have a good understanding of all Romance Languages
Finally a decent accent instead of that HIDEOUS pompous English accent while playing Roman characters...
This excellent presentation demonstrates that fluency in spoken Latin is possible and gives hope that the language could be revived.
I learned a bit latin in school and was able to understand a few things here and there. Like it! :)
I enjoy spoken and read Latin. However, this ridiculously staged parody shows alll the obesession of a modern sect for the horrid and "defunctus" Roman empire...
As a barbarian, I'm feeling primal fear just hearing him (doesn't matter what he is saying)
Latin is a beautiful language and I loved studying it in high school. Also, as a lawyer of thirty years I point out that in this field, all over the world there are many expressions and adages from Latin which are still used today and are so concise, effective and descriptive that it would take many extra words in English or French or other languages to express the same idea.
An artificial language.
A lot of segmentatums, or similar. Was it compulsory to use the word in each sentence?
Molto imperassis breve eh cortum.
I fell in love with you after listening to you 😘
Ответитьsalvete, omnes !
Ответитьoptime
ОтветитьHe’s ai
This is NOT what my latin class at university sounds like 😂😂😂

Wow i speak spanish and can amost catch on to what he is saying.
All I understood was pugnant - fights
I'd love to learn Latin I love how it sounds, im not good at languages though takes me longer than some people.
Ответить...pellicula uobis placuerit...
He who states that latin is a dead language, thinks that trees ' roots are dead.
¡Pulchra lingue!
