We had the same pathetic offense all year. We beat Ohio State and Northwestern soundly because we went back to last year's defensive scheme, that was number 1 in the country. That unbroken defense was "fixed" by Wink "Cheesecake" Martindale in his infinite stupidity.

This guy fits the scheme michigan wants to play-- he'll probably play the first 4-5 games and when the new o line locks in they will use Bryce... so the freshman isn't thrown to the wolves.

Michigan had terrible QB play. Awful. Bryce Underwood most likely will not start immediately and this guy can step in and start for the team. Michigan is a run heavy team. This is an excellent fit.

As a Michigan fan, I can tell you some are less than excited about Billy Edwards, but I think he’s a great fit at Michigan.

Billy played behind an OLine, which might’ve been one of the worst in the B1G, and Billy was forced to throw way too much. He won’t have either of those issues at Michigan.

Billy Edwards and Underwood are similar in style so Michigan will be able to run the same offense for both. This will allow them to get Underwood in the mix early.

I disagree with you calling Billy “mid.” Dylan Gabriel was a 3 star prospect, and if he was playing behind Maryland’s OLine this year, he might look mid too, but I think Billy will really thrive at Michigan in a Chip Lindsey offense. He’s a pretty good developer of QBs, and I think Billy could definitely get drafted. Chip has helped quite a few QBs get to the NFL!

Edwards was in the top 3 QBs in Big10 last year. A lot better than middle lmao. Secondly, Bryce Underwood was paid 12M by Michigan. Third and final correction, Edwards only acting as mentor to Bryce Underwood in Michigan. Perhaps even start the first couple weeks. Get your facts straight kiddo
