Durham Cathedral medieval window tracery discovered in river!

While scuba diving, a chance discovery in the River Wear of some late-medieval window tracery from nearby Durham Cathedral. The big questions are what type of tracery is it, what period of use does it date to, where could it have been used within the Cathedral, and how did it end up in the adjacent River Wear?
