Caregivers should always have support for home care, the 24/7 nature of the human care doesn't leave time for completing tasks. There is so much order in the 'mess' she just didn't have time... If she had help she might have gotten medical care and survived... This is all just so sad. If you know a caregiver - check in from time to time in good times so when things get rough - they have someone they are willing to share with.

I understand people are busy but when your father is in poor health, one would think at least one of his children would keep a check on him. I think it’s disgusting.

Very surprised that there did not seem to have any outside help to care for Hackman and help with the daily chores. Likely if they had someone checking on them and assisting them, Hackman might still be alive.

Was the house really messy? Or did people go thru the house looking for something, or stealing something? Remember they'd been dead 9 days before police were called. Were they really found 9 days later? Or had people been coming and going and searching the house before informing authorities? Reminds me of the idaho 4. The crimes occurred in early morning hours and the authorities were called 8 hours later. Many things could've happened during those 8hrs.
