If only we could buy one for €55k in Europe …
ОтветитьBased on the video if you buy a corvette z06 new the depreciation isn’t that bad ? Correct especially if you buy under msrp
ОтветитьThey had a Costco deal for these (no I'm not kidding)
ОтветитьCovid and a new corvette model leads to inflated prices. Covid is over, supplies caught up to demand. Simple economics.
ОтветитьI just bought a Z06 for $134k msrp was 143k
ОтветитьJust bought a used 2024 lt3 z51 c8 today. 3k miles, 80k. The original sticker was 97k.
ОтветитьWho really cares about these numbers? The Corvette has always been the people's sports car - something a blue collar worker can afford to purchase after his kids are grown up, all without affecting his retirement.
My Chevy dealership here in Michigan had a pile of them back in December and now they're popping up on the street like mushrooms, which is a good thing.
Go out, buy one, enjoy it, but don't overpay for it. It's that simple.
I had one of the C8s and it was great on track. This is now a $55K car that can do 0-60 in 2.8 seconds (with the right tires and Z51 package). Maybe I will pick up one of these again?
ОтветитьPorsche 991.2 please
ОтветитьWow, we must have been on the same page. I wrote to you yesterday about doing a video on this topic. ;) Thanks!
ОтветитьCover the Honda S2000!
ОтветитьOk, for someone actually in the market for one and has been following prices in the US, here are some things you need to know. Some dealers are discounting the 2025 models by $3000-7000 off MSRP before any negotiation. For example, you can go on Simmons Rockwell's website right now and see a 2025 1LT for $73k, that's $5000 off MSRP. Likewise, you can see a C8 at George Matick Chevy for $67k, nearly $8k off MSRP. Why is this happening? I'll tell you, the 2026 revised C8 is coming out this month. They are very worried about getting stuck with 2025 and 2024 models with the old interior. Now IS NOT a bad time to buy, if you don't mind the "wall of buttons" interior. Will they go down in July/August, possibly, but the one you want may not be available as people take advantage before summer gets started. Used models, like what FT mentions are holding strong, but that can't last. Why would someone buy a 2021 model for $68k when you can get a new one for that money. The real story is, the C8 is a great car with a very good reliability track record. If you want one, grab one, prices are very good right now. Good luck and don't buy the one I want. ;)
ОтветитьIm going to buy a new C8, MacMulkin says they’ll have 8% off MSRP on any order
ОтветитьI’ve been watching your channel and specifically the c8 videos for a while - BASE c8s despite being 5 years later still go for mid 60s with very few in the 50 range effectively almost none. Kind of insane. You always say c8 prices are falling but it’s misleading because 67% of c8s are lt1s or lightly optioned and those have held value super strong.
ОтветитьThis is the best time to buy a corvette
ОтветитьHere’s my question. What’s happening to sales volume of used c8? I’ve been shopping for years waiting for the cars to come down to earth. It still hasn’t happened. What I’ve noticed is week after week it’s the same cars for sale.
Ответитьthe worst time to buy is when prices are lowest? right bro
Ответитьi just got a 2023 C8 2LT Z51 with 500 miles for 67K cash
ОтветитьGreat info, thank you!
ОтветитьHow about doing a video on BMW Z4?
