TJ TV - Van-Pires Cartoon Review

I have a faint memory of a show in a junkyard with a sentient big wheel bike. I thought it was just something my chiled brain made up... Until TJ started describing that very thing!

I find it hilarious that Michael Bay was responsible for Van-Pires getting a DVD release. Because before he got his hands on Transformers. He was doing remakes of horror movies like: Friday The 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, & The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (The last one even got a prequel)

I remember a long-standing rumor that Gary Oldman was the actor for Van He'llsing, but now that I know the limited budget they were working with, clearly that never could've happened.

Further proof that those insisting that Florida is America's wang don't know the half of it...

Fuck, I thought I was the only person in the universe that remembered this crap. Yeah, this show sucks, but it's at least fascinatingly terrible. Also, how did you miss the obvious joke about a robot ice cream truck with a clown face, and Twisted Metal?

My hyper specific memory for this show was when a rat got turned into a coffee cup of gasoline.

though the heroes' gimmick kinda reminds me of the god/power master transformers

When I was a kid, I saw half of a single episode of this at 6:00 am while sleeping over at a friend's house before they woke up. For years, every time I tried to tell someone about this thing I saw, no one knew what I was talking about, so I eventually concluded that it was a weird dream I had. then, a few years ago, I found the show and learned its name. I should be relieved I was right, but part of me is disappointed this really happened...

You know whats weird, a year before Vanpires, Sunrise and Takara in Japan already did the Power Rangers/Transformers mash-up and did it better called Brave Command Dagwon. And they did it without using worse CGI than the original Crash Bandicoot

Turbo Teen meets Transformers with very bad puns. Bleh. Motorvaters somehow sounded dirty.

Go look up the Saturday Morning cartoon about Interplanet Janet the Galaxy Girl. She's literally half rocket, half girl. Also there was a cartoon where space teens live on a station and one of them is a motorbike greaser, half teen, half unicycle. Galaxy High. The name is obviously the creators admitting,. yes, they were very high.

Biker Mice from Mars vibes too. But that show was great.

The cars are literally like those mall store cart toy cars that 'quick change' into a robot, er sort of. You could go to the mall and buy some, and do a better fan film than they did in the 1990s.

That description of the main characters sounds like how a person who knows nothing about Detroit except the big three would describe an average Detroiter.

Apparently the guy who played "Snap" was friends with Uwe Boll and that got him a few roles in some of his movies, so i guess that begs the question of if the barrel even has a bottom.

Speaking of which, some of the songs for this show wound up in a collection of John Entwistle deep cuts, some of them woth their original lyrics, so you can hear what they sounded like before getting put in this dumb show.

The scary part is who Van He'llsing's actor is. That's Gary Oldman. No idea why or how they got him but it had to be something.

The puns makes this sound like a Flintstones style show that will be made in the future set in the time of fossil fuel vehicles.

We legit were looking for this and finally found it. We remember catching this sometimes on weekday mornings.

I came back cuz Pumpkin Potion's short form videos have been in my feed lately. I thought I first saw her in this video. 😅
