You forgot to mention that the 7 pro rivals most gaming phones with 90 hrz screen refresh rate !! Gaming is amazing on that beast of a phone !!

The battery is really bad for me :( , have to charge it every time , never did go through a whole day for me

Just picked this one up for $450.00 from T-Mobile. At that price it's a no-brainer, especially with the price hike on the 8's.

I honestly hope this guy gets more popular.

All the internet flooded with appreciation about Oneplus. I recently brought OnePlus 7 Pro after decent price cut but still I am regretting for my decision. Camera sucks. Forget about compare with Apple or Samsung flagships, the Camera in it is not worth compare to Galaxy M20. The crap camera I had ever used in last 6 years. I love photography so I have my own DSLR also I am not believe in mobile camera photography but still if you spent for a flagship then the decent camera should be there. The phone is heavy and big. Not a phone its a phablet. In practical use I dont like its design and form factor. Rest all things good in it. I love it but the same time hate it and missing my old S9. How practical that was to use. Except these 2 points I dont have any issue with the phone.. and yes whenever someone described Oneplus 7 camera, I feel like "Really" is it worth to discuss about it?

I buy a phone not because of camera..
The fact is, so far, any camera in any phones are not as good as a real camera itself because they are not cameras..
You want a good camera, go buy yourself a good camera..
It is nice to have camera in a phone but it shouldn't be for the main purpose of the phone..

90% or may be even 95% of the phones have notches and punch holes..
So, if you hate those like I do, it shouldn't be no brainier to decide which phones to buy..
But remember, phones are not all about camera because they are not cameras..

You want the IP rating and wireless charging yet that just adds to the price. So yeah that's why they had to put out the OnePlus 8 and now the OnePlus Nord.

end of 2020 , still the best of certain bugdet ! !! and i love the no notch! i am not taking selfies a lot so... i want it hidden! and ps: the phone is water resistant ;). 500 euro. it is amazing smartphone and amazing value , for me it ticks all the boxes!

Obviously you have different check boxes that make a phone great than me
I had the s10+, the mate 30 pro and now I'm rocking the 7t pro and out of these 3 this os my favourite
I usually give phones more points for the screen and sound and also battery and fast interface (charging speed)
Camera is a sec0ndary th8ng for me and I would go for an uninterrupted screen woth a shitty selfie camera than go for a better camera with a punch hole in it or the ugly notch
And this phone checks every box for me except the headphone jack
And until this day this is my favourite phone of them all

The camera may retract in time to prevent damage. But the pop up mechanism itself still takes the shock of the impact, which is only a tiny fragile little piece, if you wanna see it check out jerryrigeverything

Should I buy on 2022

Using the Oneplus 7 Pro since last 3 years now. Still have nothing worthwhile to upgrade to. Still the best screen in the market, plenty battery life, good stereo speakers, never stutters. Still works like a dream.

MKBHD just said that this and the Pixel 3 XL are the oldest phones that he could imagine using in 2024. IMO, it is easily the OnePlus 7 Pro over the 3 XL (unless your main desire is for a decent camera) b/c of the higher RAM capacity and more modern storage speeds. I'd imagine that a freshly reset OnePlus 7 Pro still moves like butter through daily tasks!
