I agree with the TV show comments you made. Most of their TV shows were NOT needed and way too long and overrsaturated the brand if you ask me. And What is worse is there is really no connective tissue in this phase, unlike phases 1-- 3 leading to Thanos and intertwining, there doesn't seem to be a shared universe.

I did not like Jonathan Major's acting tbh. Especially in Loki.

gonna be honest, i'm rooting for their downfall at this point. everything has felt too formulaic and cynical for a while, but bringing in sabra in the new captain america movie is monumentally stupid. now they're on boycott lists even though they've tried to underplay her character, and their image is going to be tied to israel's tanking reputation. would be a fitting end to movies that started as unambiguous military propaganda though

You know I was introduced to Kang in Marvel superheroes 2 the lego game & that gave me all I kinda needed of him. I feel like if the MCU had used him more it'd just have been worse than that Lego games good story (the rest is a downgrade from the previous game but I blame that on the lack of interesting characters that aren't spider man from here or cap from there also the open world is kinda boring despite its interesting concept due to the small size of the games open world compared to the last 2 at least in feel & the boring nature of most side quests)

I don't think Fantastic Four can ever really work for modern audiences. A big part of being Marvel's "first family" is because it was their first big hit when they were originally making comics - in the 1960s. What else was happening in the 60's?? The space race. So much of the allure and appeal of F4 is the mystery and unknown surrounding space exploration/travel. I'm not even going to go down the rabbit hole of whether USA did or did not land on the moon (sorry look at that footage - that is footage that could only be sold to the mind of a Boomer. Sorrynotsorry but there's no way on God's green earth could that footage from the 60's be passed off as proof to today's generation. Somehow we have never been back to the moon.... but I digress), all I will say is society's understanding of space has exponentially grown and evolved since the 60's.

There's been so many other comic book characters than F4. Other characters have come along and checked off the same boxes F4 covers, and probably checked those boxes better (GotG for example).

I just don't think F4 can translate well to modern audiences. Or at least these studios haven't cracked the code to figure out how. On paper...sure all their powers are cool. On paper. Theoretically.

But a large part of what got the original audience in Nov 1961 hooked and invested is the parallel and mutual mystery involving space exploration. That mystery is gone now. In fact, we live in the age of information. In abundance, over-saturation of it.

F4 is legacy media at this point. Put it in the Hall of Fame and leave it alone.

Its not that Doom can only work when hes called Victor, its the opportunity cost. Some weird alternate version of Doom is fine on its own, but it means we'll never get a traditional Doom on screen. Same thing when Thor """Ragnarok""" was 98% not Ragnarok and just had one scene at the start and one at the end and the rest was a different movie, it means we'll never get a real Ragnarok move. That story will NEVER be told on the big screen. And that sucks, its an opportunity cost! Same with Doom.

hmm normally i agree with most things u say but kinda b.s , agatha all along was a fantastic show that showed representation for women and gay people thats a big deal. thge reason the old movies did well and some new ones are coz of the fandom of toxic straight men , u cant argue, the first like 20 marvel movies all just had straight men as the leads

Agatha All Along was actually up there in the top 3 mcu shows. Exactly because she and the characters in it were mostly removed from the bigger picture. The humour and tone were consistent. And it seemed like the people involved were genuinly having fun or at least were passionate about the story, which really isn't a given in any other mcu project.

I think ppl are upset because this feels like the Zack Snyder Superman problem again. People want a movie to showcase the original Doctor Doom, but if the first every Doom Movie(I'm assuming) has a alternate version nobody likes, then everyone will think Doom is lame.

I keep coming back to this video to digest the state of the MCU and then watching the buffy video immediately afterwards because it's a masterpiece and i'm waiting for a separate cosmonaut buffy hour channel

if Doom arrives at the main MCU world before the F4, and discovers that people adore some dude that looks just like him, he is going to use it in its favour, to lure the avengers into thinking he is an alternate Tony Stark
