In this video, I will show you how to achieve really nice and straight edges when you are crocheting in half double crochet rows. When I first learned to crochet I really struggled with making the edges of my projects straight. It was hard to tell which was the first and last stitch of each row and I had a hard time figuring out where to insert my hook at times. This video will help you avoid having your project grow (by adding stitches) or shrink (by skipping stitches). Instead, you should end up with a project that has beautifully straight edges.
