An excellent explanation
Ответитьegr cuts down on efficiency, and pollutes your engine. More greenie mindless madness .
ОтветитьSounds like a bullshit device, remove it.
Ответитьat the end of the video: a Hyundai Delta V6 Engine =) Used on Hyundai Tibuton GT, Sonata and Santa Fe. A very good engine...
ОтветитьI wonder how much this reduces your fuel efficiency.
ОтветитьYep, the earth is flat, too........
ОтветитьeGr SToooooooPID!
Ответитьwhat's the difference of egr valve and vacuum switching valve?
Ответитьall these people complaining about the EGR valve, its there for a fucking reason. fucking ricers.
ОтветитьExhaust gas isnt inert, it has some unburned fuel in it...which is another reason EGRs exist.
ОтветитьMaking good business and killing the environment in the name of "Protecting the Environment"
ОтветитьEGR is an obsolete tech and has been superseded with VVTI long time ago
basically the egr on diesels and lambor sensor on petrol cars is just a after burner making cleaner exhaust ?
ОтветитьEGR should be explained better by stating EGR effectively adds an inert gas mass to the combustion mixture causing the same heat of combustion to heat up more mass, but to a lower temperature. Ideally the expanding gas of higher mass, but lower temperature would produce the same cylinder pressures and power output as when the engine was not running EGR.
The problem is it is very difficult to get gasoline and air to combust smoothly, consistently and efficiently. EGR makes this much more complicated and expensive. Very smart air-fuel control system maybe able to eliminate detonation by using EGR to reduce readily available oxygen below 21% in air. My Honda v6 Accord seems to use it that way and has never had any detonation, however, its EGR system use to clog up frequently. At least I get something useful out of it, other less smart system have probably missed the boat on any EGR benefits they might have made use of.
Incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons from cars was the main reason for car air pollution regulation. Catalytic converters allowed for the complete combustion of unburned hydrocarbons by acting as a catalyst to take unburned hydrocarbons to completion that otherwise would have to be heated to 1000°F or hotter.
Oxides of nitrogens from gasoline cars may not be that great. Places like LA and also twilight around Washington D.C. you can see a suffer looking haze that is reported to be oxides of nitrogen. I'd like to know if it really is oxides of nitrogen. If its a least 60% oxides of nitrogen then yes, its big deal. Other places in the country may not make sense to restrict small emissions of oxides of nitrogen because in a regular period of time it turns into plant food. Plants break it down into something they can use. Its the huge quantities in LA and special weather climates that cause it to be so dominant in some large metropolitan areas. People maybe relating the suffer smell to oxides of nitrogen. I don't know what oxides of nitrogen smell like, but if its near odorless and doesn't make your lungs contract when it happens by you, then it has been a huge complicating factor with little payback in air pollution concerns and harms.
brief and simple , thanks alot
Ответитьthank you but i see that egr is not needed all story to buy extra spare parts
ОтветитьTherefore don't blank off your EGR - otherwise your engine will run much hotter and you will produce NOx (nasty smelly diesel fumes you can feel from old trucks)
