Excellent. Does size affect soil? What type of garlic?
ОтветитьThe audio only comes from the right side if you have split audio.
(It's not me I checked after this)
Wow, I really thought that the 4" and 7" wouldn't grow as much as it will need more time to grow the "leaves" out of the ground and hence affect the growth. Very surprising result for me.
ОтветитьI think the climate may also impact this. I know in Vermont we have to plant a bit deeper to avoid loss to frost. Cheers.
ОтветитьI wondered what depth to plant them bc I tried decades ago and they never really produced anything. Honestly i think its bc they were transplanted into conditions that weren't ideal(backyard garden without mulch or fertilizer.)Thanks for sharing your experiment details with us. It helps tremendously for next time!
ОтветитьHi I’ve watched the full video too but just noticed the 4” are planted in the middle of the bed. Depending on your climate over winter this may be a contributing factor.
ОтветитьIm a bot
Ответить6” is ideal
ОтветитьI love that you are doing all this work for the public benefit 🙌 thank you ❤
ОтветитьSo, that's what works in your BC area. Here in Ottawa where the ground freezes much deeper, I would suggest the results would be different. Is that not correct? The timing of planting would also make a difference and so would the type and amount of mulch.
