I never was attentive to the lyrics as a teen but as I grew the lyrics tells a story that I can relate to. Sad but true.

I hate to say it, but I'll say it; this edit is suchhhh a better flow than the original, which to me is choppy and hard to listen to after hearing this gem

Thank God for limewire 12 years ago for giving me this gem instead of the original version. This one is waay better, but it’s my belief that the first version of a song you hear, whether it be a demo or a cover will be the better one to you regardless. ❤️

I am so glad I came back to this for the other remix that I remember preferring. This turned over and I knew it was a good'un on deck but had no idea it would be such a refreshing spin. Excellent and such a callback to the genesis; if you grew up on this particular sound then you would've been Miike Snow.

This was the style du jour 10 years prior. So relaxing. A sound like the vision of the horizon. I remember skipping school just to smoke and joyride and take a nap. And I would listen to anything that sounded like this.

Still remember when this dropped in 2009.. still find myself coming back to it.. and the memories.. ooh the memories :)
