I was walking my dog through my neighborhood the other afternoon, completely minding to business thinking about which way I wanted to walk and for how long. This nice looking blacked out suv is driving my direction and when they get near, they roll the windows down and a bunch of younger black males began yelling obscenities at me and threatening me. I will say I got pissed, and I told them what I thought of their courageous actions. Would have loved for them to stop and come at me so my dog could have eaten their f*king a$$es. I may have gotten my a$$ beat, but I promise you they wouldn't have walked away either.

If an adult boarded the bus and struck a child, the cops needed to arrest that (or those) adult(s) AS SOON AS A SECOND WITNESS CORROBORATED THE FIRST WITNESS!!! Those cops are lucky that wasn’t my child. Allow that to happen to my child and I become judge and jury, you had your chance and failed, and that makes you a guilty party when I go seeking my vengeance….. DO YOUR JOB OR QUIT!

What these school districts do is they say, "We'll handle it ourselves," so the police stay out of it. Then they punish the kid who is being bullied, and don't do anything to the adults except send them copies of the code of conduct for the school to "remind them" of their rules and values. Sometimes the bullies get punished, but usually it's "If you had a problem with them you should have said something before now, instead of waiting until your 'bullies' say you started something with them."

It becomes a case of the school sticking up for the families of the richest/meanest/loudest/most connected/most violent and letting the blame fall on the kid who has kept their nose clean but gets emotional when bullied because the school does nothing to protect victims and they know that. These bullies know they can poke and prod as long as they do it under the radar and around the right teachers who think it's just typical behavior, or they are scared of those kids themselves because these bullies have threatened them too. The scenes you see in movies and shows aren't as far off as you think. As long as the bullies do their thing the right way and keep the victim scared of saying anything, or they find the ones who are actually on the spectrum but so high functioning they are making it through in normal schooling, they pick on them. Until they blow up, and then it's the victim who gets all the blame, and the bully gets off Scott free.

Yeah I speak from experience. Not just my own from 1985-2002, but my daughter as well right now.
