Fabulous historical
.British aviation history..Stick your F35's etc ..give me this beauty any day!!!
It did a similar thing for the illegal inhabitants of Port Stanley in 1982 in one of the most incredibly well thought out air raids in history.
ОтветитьVulcan bomber ??? Was Mr. Spock flying it ?
ОтветитьCoolest plane since the spitfire.
ОтветитьSo sad they were unable to keep her flying
ОтветитьMake Britain Great Again!
ОтветитьI was at the Dambusters commemoration flypast at Derwent Valley, 1988 I think it was. There was a Vulcan, a couple of Spitfires, a Hurricane, a Lancaster and a Tornado fighter. The Vulcan flew over Derwent Dam wall, then pointed it skywards and booted it. I was filming it with a Video 8 camera and the noise was so loud it affected the camera and made the film "shimmer". You don't just hear a Vulcan flypast, you FEEL it!😂👍
ОтветитьI was up Brean down on that day. Very fond memory. What a beast it was
ОтветитьOnly time when Weston Super Mare was a cool place to be.
ОтветитьWe lived in Lincoln many years ago when I was a young lad and Vulcan bombers used to pass over us from RAF Waddington and later on I worked at RAF Scampton and saw this amazing bomber taking off and landing great day's safely gone 😢😢
ОтветитьThey don't build them like that any more, absolutely beautiful aircraft
ОтветитьThey had one do a low fly-by at the Cleveland Air Show back in the 70s. Loudest plane I've ever heard.
ОтветитьNow that's an aircraft 👍
ОтветитьI am sitting here writing this in 2025 and still amazed by these beautiful ladies of the sky. One thing that I have wonder is are there any Argentine solider who were stationed the Falklands island when the first blackbuck raid happened. If any are still alive and what they heard and saw of the vulcan raid. As the only description I have found is the British side of it.
ОтветитьThunderbirds are go!!!
ОтветитьI feel blessed to grow up in RAF Waddington and later live in Bracebridge Heath in to late 70s and early 80s. This was my alarm clock every morning.
ОтветитьI used to love watching this plane at Weston air days so sad she is no longer flying and the air show no longer happens, it brought huge amounts of money into Weston.
ОтветитьA.stunning 'plane - thank God never callled upon to fulfil it's primary role.
ОтветитьPOV: you’re a conscript on the airfield on the Falkland islands
ОтветитьJust about a year ago, I was outside herding the sheep, when suddenly i heard loud noise.
It took me a while to realise what it was, but just then, an A400M did a low pass right above our heads...
Like RIGHT above us!
(I was standing about 85 meters underneath the right wing)
I'm assuming that's not even close to being as cool/loud/... as having a Vulcan do a low pass just above you.
Kids didn't even care...
ОтветитьSeagull: I can doo that too! :\/
ОтветитьHooooowl de do there you sexy little minx.
ОтветитьBeautiful
Ответитьback when the u.k. was aforce to be reckoned with ...not the freeloaders paradise it is today !
ОтветитьLook at all those people living in the moment
ОтветитьWeston-Super-Mare
ОтветитьI thought you said It was loud
ОтветитьThink that Weston Super Mare moved couple of metres to the right due to the noise from the Vulcan; epic indeed
ОтветитьForking brilliant
ОтветитьI like the Valkyrie Cool as can be. It just didn’t like photographs.
ОтветитьI seen one come down 71ish at Wingate. I was a vanboy first job from school . Crashed in a field behind the village if I remember rightly I think a cow was the only casualty.
ОтветитьWhen Britain was great.not anymore.😢
ОтветитьIsn't that weston super mare
ОтветитьWe used to be so awesome
ОтветитьThe sound of victory and Empire!
ОтветитьThis is the sort of aircraft that inspires people to sign up. Sad we don't have anything like this anymore.
ОтветитьBritain no more bombers, at all. Britain not a great nation, any more.
ОтветитьSuch an iconic looking plane.
ОтветитьThe Sound of Freedom!
ОтветитьHearing the Vulcan Howl in person is truly a life altering experience.
Ответить《Yawn》
ОтветитьYou don’t just hear a Vulcan, you feel it.
ОтветитьThat one guy fishing "You dicks!"
ОтветитьThe goosebumps man!
ОтветитьThe first time I saw a Vulcan bomber was the Bond flick Thunderball. The second time was up close and personal at the Strategic Air Command Museum in Ashland, Nebraska. She is one really neat aircraft.
ОтветитьPilot waved his wing at the kids waving
ОтветитьI watched this... and a little bit of wee came out...
Ответитьall fun and games until the bay opens
