This guy is the very definition of the Dunning Kruger effect, when compared to the other engineers Gus looked to hire.
ОтветитьWerner was a genius with no common sense
ОтветитьI’ve always had trouble buying the idea that Werner—supposedly a top-tier engineer—would risk this huge operation just because he couldn’t stand a six-month separation from his wife. People in offshore drilling or remote work spend way longer away from home without throwing everything away. It’s also weird how Mike’s usually sharp team got duped so easily. Honestly, it feels like they forced that whole scenario just to bring Lalo into the picture and clue him in about the superlab. Don’t get me wrong, I love Better Call Saul, but this part really stretched my suspension of disbelief.
ОтветитьAnyone know if what he says make basic sense construction-wise?
ОтветитьThis is in stark contrast to every boss I've ever had who didn't want to hear anything about the challenges and just wanted to know how much it would cost and when it would be finished. This is why Gus is brilliant as a villain; he understands people. He didn't fall for the BS sales pitch from the first guy, and knew that Werner was the real deal when he started talking about the problems that would have to be overcome.
ОтветитьWhy was the facility such a big secret but Gus's name not?
Ответитьgus spoke german better than he speaks spanish lol
ОтветитьA Barbour Jacket????
In Alberqerque
Zeeeeeeeeeeegler
ОтветитьSpoiler warning
It's so weird to think all of these people will die.
Werner seems like the perfect man to do the job. He will definitely finish the lab and not give Gus and Mike any trouble whatsoever. He’ll live a rich man with his wife.
ОтветитьGus speaks German with a terrible accent.
ОтветитьGray matter the new continental
ОтветитьYou could John wick Skylar and Marie for Walt Jr money. You guys got a lot
ОтветитьMarie-lar sky. The Schradite twins in a committed life extension.
ОтветитьWe need to spell and pronounce it correctly.
It's WWEERRRNNEERR... ZIIIIIIIIEEEGLLEERR!!
The attention to detail with this show. Werner is actually the first name of the real Heisenberg. LOVE IT!!
Ответить200 loads of dirt and rocks blasted out in a confined space, loaded and driven away on 30 ton flatbed trucks in complete secrecy. 😆
ОтветитьYou can feel a level of "this is so difficult I am not sure I WANT to do this". This is how you get your leverage. The Ability to walk away.
If you are selling something or applying for a job, if you throw yourself at their feet and give them all the power, you are lost.
If there is some level to which THEY have to impress you to be granted the cooperation, they will fight for it.
Any real tradesman will bitch and moan and tell you a job is damn near impossible and then get it done. As soon as the French guy said it was no problem they knew he was a phony lol
ОтветитьTo all the non germans Gus said „Es freut mich Bekanntschaft mit Ihnen zu machen.” If you translate it Word for Word it is sth Like It pleases me with you acquaintance to make. Makes sense, right?
ОтветитьVince and Peter love German culture
Ответить"very professional guy this werner is"
Clearly they havent watched what this guy will do
Thank god the German uses cubic meter
ОтветитьWerner after taking few gulps of water: "Only now I can excavate"
ОтветитьWerner would never have met Gus. People like Mike exist to make sure that Werner never meets Gus.
ОтветитьIf you want construction well done, hire a german. Theres a reason the WWII flak towers throughout Germany are still standing today.
Ответить150 cubic meters isnt really that much. Like 15-20 trucks, i have a feeling the finished product would have taken more than that.
ОтветитьWerner at this point had no idea in his wildest imagination that a Salamanca would fly to Germany and almost F&ck his wife
ОтветитьMy friend is an M.I.T Grad and engineer and he said that job would be absolutely impossible to pull off in such a little time frame and without drawing attention from the outside world regardless of how stealth they are.
Ответитьpeople think Gus walked in. incorrect. he opened and closed the door to announce himself and not startle Werner. he was listening to every word.
ОтветитьEye roller ending the Werner. Couldnt handle a little bit more isolation for retirement money and didnt think about any consequences. I liked the character until he got blasted. His ending was "because movie" in this case show.
ОтветитьWerner is just like gale
Ответить"Ah, du spricht also Deutsch?"
"Nein, nur der erste Satz und dann diese Erklärung."
"...Du machst Witze, oder?"
"Huh?"
49804 Walter Harbor
Ответитьhe should have asked about a little house for his wife.
Ответитьkranplätze müssen verdichtet sein, he knew that
Ответитьziiiieeeeegleeeeer.
ОтветитьSo Why Did Gus Choose Him Over The Others? Since The Show Sowed Like 2 Others That We’re Rejected
Ответитьdamn walt really destroyed the perfect operation
Ответитьreally misleading title there sir
Ответить"You`ll get those" - this is one of those sence during the audio recording session your acting partner does minutes of monolog while you have to hang around to say 3 words :D mike got a lot of those thinking about it.
Ответить"So... it's imposible?"
"Yes"
"Oh... now I'm wishing I hadn't shown my face."
I wonder if they specifically decided to have it built under an existing structure for drama or just never thought about how much easier it would have been to build while building something on top at the same time.
ОтветитьI used to think Werner was foolish to not man up and power thru, but later when we met Marguerite it made sense.
Ответитьhe could learn german but not spanish lol
ОтветитьSIMPING got him killed. There is a lesson there
ОтветитьGod I love Werner. I was heartbroken at his star-staring last scene, I really was.
