How To Install Car Mods in GTA V / GTA 5 *2024* EASY METHOD!! ADD-ON Car Mod

Hey everyone, welcome back to our channel! In today's video, I'll be guiding you through the process of installing car mods in GTA 5 for the year 2023. It's a straightforward process, and I'll be providing a step-by-step tutorial. Just follow along, and you'll be able to do it yourself.

Firstly, you'll need to download some prerequisites, and I've conveniently placed the links in the video description. These include Open IV, Community Script V.net, ScriptHookV, and the Simple Trainer for GTA 5. Click on the provided links to access the necessary files.

Once the files are downloaded, extract them. In my case, I'm using 7-Zip for extraction. After extracting, proceed to install Open IV. Double-click on the Open IV icon, navigate to GTA 5's main game directory and follow the prompts for a smooth installation.

Next, we'll copy the downloaded files into the GTA 5 folder. Install ScriptHookV, Community Script V, and Simple Trainer by copying the respective files to the main game directory.

Now, let's add the desired car mod. I'll be using the 2018 Civic Type R for demonstration. After extracting the car files, create a "mods" folder in the main game directory. Copy your "update" folder into "mods" to safeguard your original files.

Within the "mods" folder, navigate to "update," then "x64 DLC packs." Copy the car folder into the DLC packs to create a DLC for the car. In "mods/update/update.rpf/common/data," edit the DLC list XML file to include the car name.

Finally, launch Open IV, go to "mods," navigate to "update," "update.rpf," "common," "data," and edit the DLC list XML file to add the car name. Save and close.

Launch GTA 5, press F3, navigate to "Vehicle Spawning," then "Added Vehicle Menu." You should see your added car. Select it, and voila, your new car mod is in the game!
