Take this video down before my homies see it 😂
ОтветитьGreat insight and visual explanation of how the arms should work in your backswing and downswing. This actually helps me a lot !
ОтветитьOk,that blows my mind. Too many variables?
ОтветитьHow similar is tee ball to hitting a driver with a very tall tee? If 3-year old kids can play tee ball, I think of golf as, we are much taller, and now the tee is much shorter.
ОтветитьFor the life if me i cant get anywhere near this backswing position 😭
At the top of my backswing my hands are lower than my pecs
Under playing pressure l couldnt get the club back far enough to add trail side throw. I just went back to my spinout low pull hook.
I'm a believer but need a drill to identify when l block the back swing. Next I'll try to focus on the bounce back when the club reaches maximum height to see if that works under game pressure.
If there is another drill to achieve that position I'm all ears.
"Okay.... Map"
"Map"
Haha you guys are awesome
When this video first came out up until now I totally didn't get it. For some reason it's now a light bulb moment. Question, does this concept of force direction apply to the Driver swing?
ОтветитьWhat an awesome concept! Quick question though - how can we 'send the club to camera' while maintaining connection? When I try this I feel as though my arms become too disconnected from the rest of my body
ОтветитьWill there be an exam at the end of the video? 🧐
ОтветитьMind blowing... Thank you!!!
ОтветитьI came across this video because of the title and was blown away with this information. I have always heard to raise your arms in the backswing for the 25 years I have been playing bad golf. The next day I stepped out into the field beside my house to try this swing technique out. I could only use a Gap & PW because of the length of the field. After working slowly with this swing technique to begin with, I hit the 1st ball with about 60% effort 100 Yds straight to my target. As I worked up to 80% & 100% swings, I was blown away at how effortless this swing was and how much more accurate the ball flight was. So the next day I had to get to the driving range and see how this worked with full swings for all of my clubs.
I spent 2 hours on the driving range and I found out that this swing technique works great with all of my clubs. I was striking the balls with less effort and getting 10 - 20 yards more distance with each club. And most all of the shots were landing so close to my target. My driver shots were 20 yards longer and much more straighter. I couldn't believe the results I was getting. I will be heading to the course in a few days to try this out.
I am a mid handi-capper with a driver swing speed around 95, so I'm always trying to improve my game. This swing technique could really be what I needed!
As an engineer, this is the swing content I'm looking for! Understandable for me. I struggle with vertical elevation a lot as a new golfer, and I have actually hit a few balls by lowering my hips and rotating through properly completely by accident. And when I did, I felt exactly what you described in this video. Glad to have learned that I was on the correct path. Now I have something to aim for.
ОтветитьHogan said (1940) he wanted he wanted to get the' driver parallel to the ground sooner' for a gradual incline followed by a levelish through swing before rising into the finish. I love how you qualified this point with the ax analogy. His more levelish bswing path evinced a more SUSTAINED horizontal vector --compared with your modeling--which ultimately matched up (through transition) with his LOW inside right ankle (per eversion) which is arguably THE cornerstone of his singular (ELITE) motion. It's unfortunate that GOATA so glibly pontificates as to optimal (ELITE) employment of anatomy...per their fetish of a HIGH INSIDE ANKLE. In general, the multiplanar spring matrices in the foot are recipients of forces that devolve upon the foot(from above) in such a way that the outer part is tasked with a stabilizing agency and is the lowest part of the foot. The inner, higher part which is the MOBILIZING element will 'fall' into place as it is pressed into service. My tiresome sermon ties into your theme of 'direction of force' which inextricably is linked to structure. Thanks for providing a forum for eccentrics like myself to chime in! I'm titilated to take in such depth of content. GODDABLESS!
ОтветитьHe REALLY wanted...(yikes!) Please pardon my typos!
ОтветитьNow I understand, not to lift up but swing back image. But I have a detailed question. Can u give a optimal hand level of active swing back in clock system? More and more active back swing like to the 10 o’clock hand level will give me more power but it will ruin my consistency.
I guess active back swing thought to 8 o’clock level is fine. What is your best suggestion. Thank you.😂(I asked u this with hand level because it is easiest way to describe active swing back level. I do swing with your chest engine system😅)
i seen the video of riley using the ball saying turn, no arms, lift arms ect. but Tj doesnt seem to rotate at all, just looks like hes using his arms
ОтветитьElite lesson for sure! What’s the lower body lesson video that especially compliments this force direction gold mine?!
This combo should remedy the majority of typical golf swing issues imo.
good for beginners like me!
but not long tearm solution
Just keeps getting better… yikes😅
ОтветитьAWESOME VIDEO!! Things are starting click.😊
ОтветитьMay the forward force be with you
ОтветитьRiley....would you sugggest flatter lies to use on irons ??
ОтветитьBeen struggling with inconsistency for a couple of years now of upper 80s and low 90s with the occasional extremes and after watching this video went and shot an 83. This is such an easy thought to have to take lots of the thinking out.
ОтветитьReal good stuff here! The only swing video I need to save.
Ответитьah...but the rotational swing is sooo hard on the body. So many elite players getting injured with this. As a senior, I would end up with too many injuries. I'll take the arm swing anyday.
ОтветитьThe 3 step video says 2 lift your arms?
ОтветитьThanks for making golf instruction so god damned confusing.
ОтветитьAnother great vid. Question....the drop sounds like it occurs as the backswing is over (is that technically P5?)...are you dropping and then staying level until AFTER the hit before you extend back up? I presume if you try to push up after dropping while hitting or as hitting then unless you time it perfectly you wind up either topping or just having a form of early extension resulting in a fat/chunk before the ball, depending on when you're extending? Meaning, it seems as if you're getting to the top of the backswing, dropping and as you say swinging like an Axe hit into a tree but remaining in that position until you're through the ball where the body can then extend up. Is this correct?
ОтветитьCould you feel like your throwing a club backward and/or forward ?
Great information.
Thanks✨
ОтветитьI started lifting my arms and it changed everything I was overturning and getting so tense in the backswing I had no feel coming down.
ОтветитьThoughts on someone trying this with a longer wingspan than height? Always been told my swing has to be more verticle because of this. I'm also 5 foot 6 lol
ОтветитьIf you focus on the horizontal force in back swing. When do you feel the top of swing to start transition? Thx
ОтветитьSo on the down swing, do you feel swinging the mass around the corner, or down the line??
Ответитьway too much detail, video could have benn two minutes
ОтветитьGotta make these 5 minutes, not14. Easy to do.
ОтветитьAfter that booty smack there will be more questions than answer. Great video and if I could hit shots like that id be booty smacking that shit out ya.
ОтветитьIf I could start all over again, this should be the first video ppl learn about. So many ppl including myself thinks golf is and up and down swing. Swing at the ball. But it’s about moving mass and level hit. Learning all the techniques but with believing it should be up and down does not work.
ОтветитьYes they hit level its why Ben Hogan said his trail index finger was swinging through level not down. I believe that was very important.
ОтветитьThis has to be one of the most profound instructions on the golf swing I have ever seen 😮 now how the heck do I start implementing it?
ОтветитьYou said that the arms, in transition, are just "floating there", but if using force doesn't accelerate the hands from the top of the backswing then why does having a "longer backswing" leader to greater clubhead speed? Maybe you didn't mean to say that, but now I"m confused...I don't see how your model incorporates this portion of the swing
ОтветитьWhat type of grip feels the most comfortable to you guys with this swing?
ОтветитьThis just blew my mind. Can’t wait to try it tomorrow on the range.
ОтветитьI would have walked off the range in the first 30 seconds he started talking.
ОтветитьWhat are you doing with hands they seem to go up and back on downswing.
ОтветитьJohn Rahm does this .
ОтветитьMaybe one of our most important concepts to date… the arms hit LEVEL!! Ask questions, we’ll answer 🙏
Ответить
