My cat bit me and even though thankfully I didn't needed PEP for rabies now I'm dealing with the possibility of facing arthritis.

Boy, you don’t gotta tell me. I just got out of the hospital after 5 days on intervenous antibiotics. It only took a few hours after the event for the infection to start spreading rapidly in my hand. I got cellulitis and I have to continue taking antibiotics for another month. Blood work every week. I have to see a plastic surgeon, infectious disease doctor have an MRI x-rays. the whole works all because my cat bit me due to a bad experience with our vet.
