They had the same locks on buggies since the early 80s. So people wouldn't take buggies out of the parking lot....duh!!!
ОтветитьYou don’t need expensive technology to stop shoplifting. You need common sense. Think the way they do. Lock up everything, the item doesn’t get released until it’s already paid for. You can have two people. The cashier and the person who brings the item. It’s all about making sure everything is paid for. The item stays locked up if it’s not paid for.
ОтветитьTreat a theif the way they treated in the early days of the wild west and the problem will cease……
ОтветитьLike someone cant take a tool apart an bypass that in a few mins
ОтветитьThat will fix it 😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьExcellent ...but knowing you could get 30 year's hard labour up north pole no visitor or phone use no mail just work 16 hour's a day to pay you bedding food .......end of story....
ОтветитьSO....../ honest ,,,paying people still have to foot the bill for this technology to save Lowes & DEPOT,,,, it is passed on to the honest people .......& I've had enough !!
ОтветитьNo one steals Ryobi….😂
ОтветитьHow about 25 years in prison? That’ll learn ‘em…..
ОтветитьWe’ve had this with carts for many years in the uk
ОтветитьAll of this can be EASILY bypassed....
ОтветитьThis is stupid. Now a hacker can turn off every tool sold by a store. We can stop this by taking the store to court.
ОтветитьIt is not new, I ues to work making these, like 5 years ago, and it wasn't new then even 😂
ОтветитьUh yea.blame the democrats for that
ОтветитьAnyone notice its always the same race?
ОтветитьLook at all those zoo animals!
ОтветитьI'm colour blind... can anyone tell me what colour the thieves are ????
ОтветитьThe asset protection on shopping carts is to make sure the shopping cart itself is not stolen. I used to work at a grocery store in a poor neighborhood and they had the technology on the carts to prevent the carts from being stolen because many people who lived in that neighborhood didn't have a car.
ОтветитьDung scat.
ОтветитьThe Bluetooth will slow them down but it won’t stop them.
ОтветитьAll that Bluetooth technology tells me is that if they can disable your power tools from working until paid for, then activate them…then what’s stopping these companies from just randomly disabling your expensive power tools as soon as your warranty expires!? All this companies are greedy AF, and there is zero doubt in my mind that they are using these capabilities for nefarious purposes even after you pay for these items.
Like many other people suggested, just put up your displays with slioo pop s you can bring to the register. Once paid for, hand in your slip and receipt to collect your item. I don’t want someone able to disable my expensive purchases via Bluetooth at their will!
Save that money on expensive technology, implement a ticket service, and use that money saved to better pay your employees. Everyone wins.
Teach your kids not to steal.
ОтветитьWow liked and subscribed too fellow content creators
ОтветитьWish I could simply afford these things
ОтветитьShould just have the box self destruct. With a countdown timer of course. 😂
ОтветитьSo, as usual, the honest people not only have to pay for the stolen goods, but the technology to try to prevent theft. Shoplifters suck. Bring back road gangs for shoplifters.
ОтветитьZero tolerance, that’s what brought crime down in New York back in the day!
ОтветитьThe wheels on the cart go lock lock lock
ОтветитьAlways pay for vacuum and other non vacuum stuff
ОтветитьAmerican land of opportunity & at the same time land of thrives 😂😂
ОтветитьAll in democrat States :/
ОтветитьThis did not work, oh Well BIDENOMICS
ОтветитьAnd you can’t hack in to Bluetooth safest thing in the world lol
ОтветитьTHEY CAN STOP SHOPLIFTING TODAY WITHOUT ANY EXPENSES AT ALL. JUST MAKE SHOPLIFTING FOR ONE SINGLE ITEM ARE SECOND-DEGREE FELONY WHERE YOU AUTOMATICALLY GET 10 YEARS MANDATORY. THAT WILL DETER ANYONE FROM SHOPLIFTING. IF YOU GET CAUGHT IT'S MANDATORY YOU DO 10 YEARS WITH NO PAROLE.
ОтветитьCan't shop in peace everything lock up.
ОтветитьThe corporation been stealing from people for years. Inflation, everything is going up. Are they paying us more? HELL NAW.
ОтветитьYeah that "bluetooth technology" doesn't exist as far as I'm aware. There's no way to activate a product just by scanning it at the register either, our scan guns are merely barcode readers that identify a product. As for the locking carts they do nothing. I had some shoplifters with tools in a plastic tote just lift everything out of the cart when it locked and walk out the door.
ОтветитьDemocrats destroying America
ОтветитьWhat happened?
I thought you said "My People Don't Stihl"?
Ahhh ok your Craftsman!
ОтветитьWhat does Leather Face Carry? What kind of Chainsaw?
ОтветитьHome Depot’s got some hot ass girls working there
ОтветитьSmart technologies! All stores EVERYWHERE should have this! It's genius!
ОтветитьOr just run out with the box wth
ОтветитьBluetooth technology easy to bypass. Nice try. Locking carts not a bad idea
ОтветитьAh look at them acting like locking shopping cart wheels is new tech, actually the tech has been around over 30 years and used to be used to stop people removing shopping carts from store parking lots. It's also very easy to bypass.
ОтветитьCriminals aren't stealing power tools
ОтветитьThat's total bulshit you're not being recorded it's just a run over camera that is not recording you and what's to say you can't run out with the box after the carriage stops? Also the product will work when you leave with it that's just a gimmick, shoplifters keep doing your thing
ОтветитьThat bluetooth stuff she was talking about is a lie. It's just a scare tactic. And whats to stop a criminal from lifting the item out of the shopping cart and carrying it to their car?
ОтветитьImmigration.
