Hear me out ok : I think Voldemort left Harry alive because he thought that because of his background he would turn evil and be sorted into Slytherin but when he wasn’t that just went away because I think Voldemort wanted a partner or Heir of some sort , someone equally as powerful to instill fear if Voldemort ever did die

I find it very confusing that when Voldemort’s killing curse rebounded off of Harry and hit him his physical body, which should have been left behind, is never mentioned. Did it disappear? If so why? If it was left upon Harry’s nursery floor, was it buried?

i think that Voldemort wasnt so smart, yeah he was great but thinking that you can change a phrophecy is just mad. Think about it, everything that happens after you heard your future had to happen that way in order for you to expirience your future. So if Voldemort didnt kill James and Lilly, story would be different but he would die in the end again. Because it was his destiny.

How did Dumbledore know Quirrell was bad? And how did Dumbledore seem to know that Malfoy was being blackmailed into trying to kill his headmaster? In Deathly Hollows that's what he said to Snape in the memories Harry received from him. Just relistening to all the books and I kinda wondered that.

My thing is why don't they use genetic modification to insert the magical gene into the children of the muggle world? It IS a genetic factor that decides it, but my theory would be that it would have to be in the children as the adults would not accept a "new world" like that and even if their children didn't, THEIR children after could be shown magic and therefore later on down the timeline the wizarding world wouldn't need to hide as the "muggle world" would now consist of witches and wizards and all the muggles would have died off naturally by that point. They could adopt both magical and non magical methods of doing things. Thats how I would see the progression of the two societies.

Makes sense. Adults, while having general curiousity about those crazy events, putting stress on Harry just because it COULD happen. It almost did too even with all the help. I attribute his success to luck. Even Harry said most of his stuff done was luck.

I've been thinking, what did happen to voldemorts body in the Potter house. It's said that he was disembodied into a wraith like form but where is his physical body. Did it evaporate? Explode? Disintegrate? Instant cremation? Was it stolen? Point is, its never said what happened and I'd like to know exactly what that is?

The Ministry of Magic was a tyranny. Though, the aftermath of the first war with Voldemort had left the Ministry of Magic broken, with weak leadership. This allowed the narrative to be control by the media, which sensationalized (lied) about everything to extreme levels.

Why did Voldemort's body disappear? Surely if the spell rebounded, it should have killed his body, while Voldemort's soul remained in all the horcruxes...

why? maybe because when he was a baby he defeated the most dangerous wizard known.

“Harry is his equal” what a joke. There are very few that will agree that Harry Potter was powerful in any capacity. He cheesed his way through school and it’s safe to say in a fair duel that Voldemort would kill him everytime.

Everybody that meets Harry when Hagrid is taking him to buy his Hogwarts stuff in the first book is happy to meet him, and friendly.
When he meets Ron in the train Ron tells Mrs. Weasley, and Ginny immediately wants to go see him.
The other first year students are not scared when they realize Harry Potter is one of their classmates. The only one that is not friendly is Malfoy.
When Harry is selected to Gryffindor the Weasley twins start chanting "We got Potter!"
