"I agree"
- then bitch, why we talking ?😂
I have zero clue why anyone would rather go enlisted when they have a college degree. 99% of the jobs in the military have an officer component so there’s really no excuses to go enlisted.
Ответить2.8? He took the whole four years off.
ОтветитьI enlisted because I didn’t finish my degree otherwise officer route
ОтветитьIs there ever any a good reason to not go OCS?
ОтветитьWith barely studying and just showing up to class you can get between a 3.2-3.6 easy… not the officer you want
Ответить2.89? Bro you barely made it through college. These are the future leaders of our military
ОтветитьYour Trying to figure out but you agree? Go army ❤
ОтветитьThey should be enlisted into a special needs program if they go enlisted with a degree
Ответить2.89 🤣🤣
Ответитьsan
ОтветитьHe'll make the perfect shitbag officer in the S Shop
ОтветитьLost Souls
ОтветитьTell em!
Ответить@jakezweig add me I am about to join the Air force reserve I’ll be 26 this July and I’m about to graduate community college with law enforcement major in psychology. I’m a general manager at Panera bread.
ОтветитьYeah, what was the question? Bro answered the question himself.
ОтветитьI graduated cum laude w/ my Bachelors 😎
ОтветитьSo all you need is a college degree to go in as an officer? Like a degree in anything?
Ответить2.89 GPA is WEAK; USAF and Coast Giard require 3.0 and higher level math and bachelor's degree minimum : Navy allows 2.5 minimum and Marines 2.0 minimum but again both will pick candidates with higher gpas and marines will demand high physical standards
Jake Zweig is trying give these young men a dose of reality and focusing their expectations..
Idk man. Im not sure I want to primarily push paper. Id rather do the lifting. Fuck it man I shouldve joined out of highschool lol
ОтветитьI got into coast guard OCS with a lower GPA than this guy. There’s a lot more to a package than just GPA. Except if your Air Force lol
ОтветитьThat’s a low gpa… service academies get first pick, then rotc, then ocs. You’re already getting the leftovers and a 2.8 show you don’t really care about retaining material taught to you so how are you going to teach it as a leader? Commissioning is a choice and it’s a heavy one, depending on your branch you might have 10 or more dudes relying on YOU fresh out of BOLC. A 2.8 gpa doesn’t show me you care enough about anything. Not trying to be a jerk, just realistic. Wanting a job is different than earning it. These are people’s kids, husbands, wives, aunts, uncles, that’s a lot of responsibility and if you can’t do YOUR homework on time I have a hard time believing you’ll have your reports in by the deadline. That means your troops might not have what they need because you don’t care enough.
ОтветитьA 2.89 is an automatic rejection just an fyi, unless you are a 1 in a 1000 individual & captain america everywhere else. Enlisted is kind of his only option and even then most enlisted have at least a bachelors or associates nowadays, he might be lackin there too, I wouldn’t crap on our enlisted population like they did here.
Ответить2.89? That's a good gpa??
ОтветитьHuh😅
ОтветитьEnlisted is better.
ОтветитьHi dudett!
Ответитьbetter get his packet ready to go, got selected last board and avg gpa was 3.6. ocs process is no joke
ОтветитьGenuine question why is it a stupid idea to try and go enlisted? i’m in college and was gonna enlist in the marines, gpa is a 2.6.
ОтветитьThis guy had to be the dumbest he could possibly be to maintain a 2.89 GPA
ОтветитьIf you got a bachelors, there's no reason to go enlisted.
ОтветитьHaving some higher ambition is necessary. 😅
ОтветитьCrazy how many idiots in here are knocking low college GPA’s. Passing gets you a degree and it’s so different with each major. A 3.5 in communications for example is not the same as a 3.5 in a field of engineering. You can study 20 more hours a week in engineering and still get the same gpa as you would if you didn’t study at all for an easier major.
ОтветитьOlder guys who have degrees either go the long way around in the army or join the navy then switch to the army
ОтветитьGpa is only one part. are you physically fit enough to survive Officer School. ?
ОтветитьAs desperate as I am to go on with my life and do something meaningful, it’s best that I finish out with my degree. Shit maybe even do some ROTC. If any of you readers are like me, put your anxiety into running, muscle endurance, and class work. We’ll appreciate it in the long run.
ОтветитьMy gpa is 2.6 what you think?
ОтветитьStrong disagree. Sometimes your degree isn’t something related and therefore would do you no good. You’d be better off picking an MOS that is relevant to what you want to be rather than being forced to do some random officer job that has no barring on your future goals
Ответить2.89 is pretty low
ОтветитьNot with a 2.8 gpa lol, thats bottom of the barrel. To be competitive you gotta be around 3.7-3.5 minimum.
ОтветитьSo, the DUMBEST THING YOU CAN POSSIBLY DO is go enlisted in the Army? Let me tell you something, hero. There is a reason why a senior NCO gets assigned to a newly commissioned butter bar. It's so that the enlisted NCO can keep the butter bar from getting lost in the dark and getting tangled in the razor wire. Also... a 2.9 GPA? Pfffttt.... You aren't any smarter than the warriors that you want to lead, hero. Trust me. I've witnessed E3s and E4s tutoring lieutenants on trigonometry so that the officer could pass the promotion board
Ответить2.8?..man, youre enlisted all day, every day! Mmmmmkkay😂😂
ОтветитьMy recruiter telling me I can’t go ocs with a 3.0 I need a 3.2…
Ответить2.9 gpa dawg you not coming in as an officer ahhahaha good luck.
