One of my favorite things Stella has said was when her dad was using the blender to make dinner and she said "Dad" "All Done" "Now". Like, it hurts my ears please stop!
ОтветитьShe so cute
ОтветитьThey need to start using water resistant touch screens. Will reduce the floor space and give so so many more options. For example, a treat button could bring up an option screen. Or play could bring up options, ball, park, ect.
ОтветитьIf you were the first, why would you be able to order buttons.
ОтветитьIt's nice to think your dog is talking to you, but the best it can ever do is bark and recognize a few simple words like "walk" or "sit". This dog was only pressing buttons randomly and not communicating it's wants and desires.
ОтветитьHow ridiculous.
ОтветитьThat also mean that they can read! AMEN
ОтветитьIf you are a mother to a dog, what does that make you?
ОтветитьThe Tibetans claim that dogs and cats are the step in karmic (mental) evolution right before becoming a human.
ОтветитьAs crazy as this may sound, mind maps (aka web diagrams for brainstorming, outlining, etc.) work better when they are drawn in the shape of a nervous system nodal web (curved lines connected to curved nodes, opposed to straight line with right angles attached to boxes). I'm guessing that's why the future iterations of these buttons are made the way they are with the hexagonal mats.
ОтветитьAs someone who trained my dog to talk, I'm skeptical. In order to build language, the dog should confirm or deny translation. I don't see that process. "Water bye" is not something my dog would say. He would say, "I was at the river." I understand sound buttons can only have so many words so the language may be trained like this. However, a real talking dog can answer real questions, like what he hears/smells; which also means he's really easy to test. You can test a dog in a 10-minnute test and prove language, just have him identify smells in a bag to the owner. The dog must know the smell/words and the owner doesn't know the answers.
ОтветитьOver the last several years I’ve seen multiple videos of dogs, even cats, using buttons to communicate. Hard to say which dog/owner combo truly was first.
ОтветитьI have a ten week old mini Australian shepherd. She is already hitting the treat button and learning the food button. She can sit , lay down , paw shake and potty trained.. She is incredibly smart. Love that little sweetie
ОтветитьHey Christina. I really want to share my talking dog with you. She is up to 70 buttons. She carries on conversations with me. She demands things and then cries and gets it herself if I don't get it fast enough... she's a beautiful black cane corso and has only been using buttons for 8 months.
ОтветитьI see how a dog could easly learn "outside" and "eat", etc. but I'm not sure how the concept of "when" would be taught....
ОтветитьThe intelligence of a dog equals that of a 7 to 11 year old child, depending from the breed and individual. So, I'm not surprised dogs can learn to talk using these buttons.
ОтветитьYou were not the first
ОтветитьSo this seems wrong. Um,. I do not trust this woman.
ОтветитьLove this!❤
ОтветитьYou are amazing! Such a great thing to invent!
ОтветитьThis is great! I just got these buttons to try with my dog. I have a feeling they're going to spam the 'Eat" button though.
ОтветитьHmmm... I think you could read a lot more into this than is actually real. A bit like that amazing horse that supposedly could do maths.
ОтветитьAmazing!
ОтветитьNo buttons required! By paying attention to yor dog's body language, eye contact or energy, you will always know what is he thinking or wanting. ❤ every time he wants to cuddle whit you or give you a kiss, you will know that he is love you.❤ Stella is doing that for you.
ОтветитьMakes me wonder how she remembers which button says what. Then I start wondering, can Stella read the labels and we just don’t realize it?
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьBest idea ever
ОтветитьI know a couple who had just 3 buttons for their puppy. Eat, Water, Outside. Now, on her own, the puppy put together water & outside when she has to go out to 💦.
ОтветитьYall are so gullible
ОтветитьChange the way you think of animals you mean
ОтветитьI wish this existed when I had my corgi he would have taken to it like a duck to water. He was the smartest dog I ever met.
ОтветитьWhy on earth do you think you where the first to model words for your pet??
ОтветитьHow do they know whch is which on the big button board? They look identical and surely she can't read??
ОтветитьDid Stella come before Bunny?
ОтветитьOMG STELLA🐶🎀 was an adorable Puppy 🐶🎀
ОтветитьWhere did you get the buttons? Have you thought of working with people with nonverbal autism?
ОтветитьBunny has done this too
ОтветитьThe one button I miss is "Thank you!" even if just for ME to use it for the dog when it's followed a command or put away it's own toy or something...
And of course I wonder if the dog would then ever use it! And in which situations! I could watch these videos all day!
why not have pictures or symbols under each button rather than words?
ОтветитьShe is so precious- was she a rescue? Bless you for giving her a loving home❤️🐈
ОтветитьAre there longer videos in which one can see that Stella is using specific word intentionally? I am absolutely interested in such communication experiments.
ОтветитьThese types of videos are all over the internet. Yet still no info on the button pad, where do you buy it?
ОтветитьI don't like those talking buttons.
ОтветитьStella, step on the button that says, "Mommy has great legs!"
ОтветитьLove your stuff
ОтветитьAll my dog said was "hump leg" for a while, then he tried to extort me. I had him put down. Chihuahuas are diabolical.
ОтветитьSomething similar was developed for sign language chimpanzees and gorillas years ago. Great job!💕🙏
ОтветитьThe next critical step is to move away from the requirement for buttons by developing a pattern of vocalizations that dogs can make themselves to communicate. That would allow dogs to communicate wherever they are, whether buttons are available or not and to any human that knew the language - provided that a universal language was developed.
This would be vastly superior communication for dogs (and cats or whatever). And most important of all, once it was established, selection would allow animals to develop greatly improved ability to communicate with humans (and among themselves?)
I suspect that hunting for the appropriate vocalization in their minds rather than on a button setup would enable animals to learn much faster.
Most important of all, animals might start creating their own words and teaching them to us! THAT is when communication would really take off.
