I think most people need to wake up after 15 years of a rigged economy. But let’s face it. Many people even before the 2008 crash were on the real estate band wagon. In 1999, many people were on the tech bubble high. Some of us that have been around for a while remember how terrible the late 80’s and early 90’s were. We remember Ross Perot’s sucking sound warning and see what was a powerhouse of a country a mere husk of what it was. We are paying a penance at this point. I am an outlier who is just about financially independent no thanks to this economy but rather getting the right degree, a good career and staying single. Its a sad day that the idea of a family breaks the bank in many cases. We as a society got too greedy for our own good and turned into such a degenerate at large mindset. Be pissed at yourselves.

In a apartment I remember in Greenbelt, Maryland. The monthly rent was $310 in 1977. In 1992 I was told the rent was $930. The turn out the inflation rate was 6.675 percent a year. It is shocking.

Once food goes up, the prices fall a few cents but not much 😮
