Do bobbins and fyffe by Armstrong and Miller. I promise you that you won't be able to get through the whole video
ОтветитьThe one in the prison of war camp is an absolute classic. I hope you get to see it
ОтветитьTheir skit show is so underrated. It’s worth Checking out their other work
ОтветитьArmstrong and Miller Mr Wilkinson clubbing sketches are my favourite.
ОтветитьWe think the pilots were posh because of the actors that played them in films :-D They were young and quite a lot were Polish.
ОтветитьEven in 1944 they we're woke 😏
Ответить" She's well up for it...slapper." I died😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThere was an episode of QI where Rob Brydon and Ben Miller were on the same show and were seated together. They played into the looking similar thing on that too.
ОтветитьRandom!
ОтветитьYou're right that a lot of the British 'Battle of Britain' pilots were very young.
This series of sketches was comedically comparing the bravery, resilience and determination of those young men, with the feckless effin' snowflakes that similarly aged British men are today.
Mate I love that you’re peeling the onion of British comedy
ОтветитьI've said it several times before, but you really do need to check out Kevin Bridges sketch the real story of Jesus birth. I promise you that you will love it.
ОтветитьWilliam the Conqueror is Alexander Armstrongs 27 x great grandfather
ОтветитьYou need to do their Brabbin’s and Fyffe songs.
ОтветитьAnd then they do a sketch with the WWII pilots with Mitchell and Webb for Comic Relief.
ОтветитьMedi packs in computer games break the Geneva Convention if they have a Red Cross. That's why you don't see red crosses on health in computer games anymore
ОтветитьThis sketch is mocking entitled Millennials and Z'ers, who've been lead to believe they're entitled by Boomers, X-ers and Millennials. Nobody is entirely culpable and no one is blameless.
ОтветитьBen Miller looks just like Rob Brydon, but if you squint your eyes and got eye problems and shit.
ОтветитьWhile serving in N Ireland one of my friends was ordered by a twat of a Sergeant Major to paint his recovery truck after ignoring the idiot for weeks he finally threw a tantrum and threatened disciplinary action if the truck wasn't finished that week. Big Mack collected six cans of black paint and one of red and spent his weekend painting it as the A team van. Needless to say the Sergeant Major was the only one who didn't find it hilarious. He promptly threw another hissy fit and ordered it painted camouflage so Mac spent the next weekend painting it green and covering ot in black tiger stripes. Finaly the idiot gave up and sent it back to a main workshop to be properly painted as he should have done from the beginning.
ОтветитьArmstrong & Miller are good , these are similar in a way to the Harry Enfield idea of using old films and contrasting them with today .Many of the pilots in WW2 were very young . Anyway the sketches are cleverly done and funny , look out for Mitchell & Webb guesting in the Comic relief special .
ОтветитьI've seen these before, but a couple of lines made me lol again. Great stuff ;)
ОтветитьI loved the Armstrong and Miller show, please react to more of their sketches, I love the football pundits fallout.
ОтветитьKB needs to check out some Hale and Pace. Their Billy and Johnny or reality street sketches first
ОтветитьBrilliant. Haven't seen that before 😂😂😂
Ответитьsee if you can find "i'm going to take you to a gay bar" - very fine and shit and all that. harsh. - atb
ОтветитьSo clever, so funny.
ОтветитьI’ve got one of those ekco A22 Vintage Radios, I think they look really cool. I could be a pedantic nerd and say (with an adenoidal voice) that model came out in 1945, after the War. But I won’t 😃
ОтветитьKnew you'd like them.
Ответитьthese are my favourite pieces of comedy ever made. The juxtaposition of modern and old, the anachronistic language it's just perfect. The red nose special with Geoffrey Palmer is just amazing
ОтветитьArmstrong & Miller Olden days singer singing modern songs in 18th century period drama style at the piano forte.
ОтветитьBen Miller (Rob Brydon) has a hilliarious show called Worst Week Of My Life which you Oueen Boomer should react to. There was an American remake but it was garbage.
ОтветитьGay Bar. Armstrong and Miller Gay Bar sketch. I’ve cried laughing at it so many times.
ОтветитьThere is a "Armstrong, Miller, Mitchell & Webb as WW2 Pilots | Comic Relief" sketch that is amazing
ОтветитьThey're tied to the chair.
ОтветитьIt's more than just modern slang transposed onto WW2, it's a dig at that section of modern society that are sometimes referred to as snowflakes and at the semi-literate language used by youngsters in an attempt to look cool.
ОтветитьI'm adamant you'd love Lee Evans lol, though I've thought you may find somethings funny you ended not doing but... lol, pretty certain about him. Just a shame Lee Evans stopped doing comedy, to say its a travesty would be an understatement.
ОтветитьArmstrong & Miller train song. Knock yourself out.
ОтветитьCheck out the Brabbins & Fyfe routines they do as well
ОтветитьYou should react to some of the outstanding british comedians brian conley live and dangerous freddy starr clips with des o connor as well hale and pace gangers and the management cannon and ball clips but if u do watch them watch them with queen boomer as well because those 4 comedians will have you both in stitches laughing the comedians ive mentioned were the best Saturday and Sunday comedy evenings of my childhood just thought you should look them up and do a reaction because if u think the funny british tv shows make u laugh these comedians will even better
ОтветитьArmstrong and Miller are great, I heard someone call their show the Thinking Man's Comedy. Sums it up perfectly.
ОтветитьBrilliant!! 😂 My favourite character from this show was the TV historian who would always end up accidentally destroying the precious artefacts he was showing 😂😂
ОтветитьI like the Dentist and the Clumsy Art Historian and the Georgian dance sketches.
ОтветитьThe Armstrong and Miller show was brilliant in its time. Ben Miller has gone on to become a great actor, while Alexander Armstrong's career has become largely Pointless.
