A Soviet Book Review

Basically, a booktube video without all the fake and stupid enthusiasm.

The purpose of a book review is to analyse and breakdown the content of a book. This video is not a book review nor some kind of a factual video and doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. This video is just a spontaneous flow of words about a topic.

I want to make it clear that I'm not a Vladimir Lenin fanboy. I know that he has done wrong things. I am not saying that Lenin was the greatest or shit like that. This video is just about a book.

I made this video because I was bored. Thus the purpose of this video was mainly to entertain UM-2020. I haven't put in any efforts in making this. Also, I am aware that there are errors in my speech. This is because of laziness as I hated rerecording my speech again and again. Also, the entire thing is unscripted. Thus I haven't edited it and ignored all those errors.

I chose this book because it's one the most interesting books in my collection. I read this book nearly seven years ago, when I was in middle school. At that time I was learning about the Russian Revolution, Communism and USSR, so I was aware about Lenin and all the other characters of this time period. Now the purpose of the book was mainly to glorify Lenin so that children considered him as a hero. But this happens in almost all societies. Every country glorifies some guy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
TL;DR : I chose this book because it was published in Soviet Union which I think is cool.

ARTICLES ABOUT SOVIET PUBLISHING NOSTALGIA

The articles are Indocentric because the popularity of Soviet published books was quite high in India during the days of the USSR and several Indian elders still miss those books.
