Not a fan of Putin but the Russians sure did make an awesome rifle
ОтветитьFucking hell did he say meters? Well damn boys I guess we can go home after hearing that. I knew that fucking M didn’t stand for miles
ОтветитьAccording to my ballistoc calculator the difference between a 100 zero and a 100 meter zero with an ak is the 100 yard zero will be a quarter inch lower at 100 meters. That is not large enoigh to make any real difference that means when you set your elevation at 400 meters the difference might be 2" lower than otherwise.
ОтветитьI know optics are objectively more accurate but they're also a bigger headache. The AK iron sights are just so simple and brilliant.
Ответитьusing this today thanks big bro
ОтветитьI jumped into the AK head first. Rob has been a godsend with these videos. A guy at gunstore in Dallas Texas even recomended you and I was like I watch him all the time!
ОтветитьJust ordered a AK47 999.95 hopefully it'll shoot well.
Ответитьcan you talk about rusted pitted zastava ak sks barrels
ОтветитьThanks a lot Rob.
ОтветитьExcellent video! Thank you very much. I learned a lot!
ОтветитьI still have a long way to go
ОтветитьDoes izhmash saiga rifles come with straight sights?
ОтветитьMy man the AK 🐐
ОтветитьExcellent video, very useful knowledge!
ОтветитьWhile I don't have an AK, I do have a SKS which uses the same iron sights; and I have to say, of all of the weapons I have fired in the last 60 years, they are the absolute worst, at least for my old eyes. I love the gun, and hate that I had to modify it(not permanently) in order to mount a red dot on it to be able to use it effectively. I think it will make an excellent hog rifle.
ОтветитьThis guy is serious about this and this why I'm here.
Ответитьvery informative. Just getting into AKs
ОтветитьHow close are you std when you are shooting the gongs. Is it too close ? What is the safe distance ?
ОтветитьI use the 25/200 yd zero . According to the info ,"if you zero at 25 YARDS the bullet will again cross the target at 200 yds if you put the rear site setting at the "2 " position. I only have a 170 yd outside range, so I just aim a little bit low on an 18x 24 torso gong....Ring it every time.
Ответитьthanks for caveman eotech that will help
ОтветитьHelpful! Thank you. You are an excellent teacher.
ОтветитьI thought you you said "suppressing diahorrea" I need a hearing aid, great vid sir
ОтветитьGuys USA uses to much propaganda Russians are really good men also ik this is gonna make some people cry and bitch but it’s very true Russians found child trafficking systems in Ukraine with video proof but ooohh no America won’t show that in til tok fuck Ukraine they are pedos slava Russia
ОтветитьThanks! You seem really knowledgeable about the AK47 platform (and i think your accent confirms it hahahah). I get to pick up my very first AK here very soon and im going to immediately take it to the range and zero it. I only have lots of experience shooting AR's and really only know AR's so, ive got a lot of learning to do. Thanks again for the info
ОтветитьSo, if you want to raise the front sight post up. You to turn the front sight clockwise to raise the front post?
ОтветитьHey guys, i know i'm late here, sorry. I got an akm from sdm. The gun is fine for its price but there is something i dont understand. From "P" to "2", the adjustement is flat. In the video it seems that the "vision" go Down right after the P then go up. Does someone know about this Iron sight of sdm ak ?
Ответитьrussians are genius. too bad wall street jews and english funded bolsheviks. so many nations and people suffered and could not develop naturally.
ОтветитьThis guy is a legend in the AK community.. Thank you for everything you've done for us.
ОтветитьThanks Rob really like the tip of making a mark on the drum with a pencil your a genius.
ОтветитьPerhaps I didn't hear you mention the situation where the front post is tightly rotated, slightly around to the left. So it is not vertical. Tried to move it to vertical position, not moving. Don't want to damage it. What is the best way, safest way to adjust front post to vertical position ?
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThank you, this video was very informative. Love your channel, brother. Makes me want to go out and shoot my AK 😊
ОтветитьAnd on other side there is me, Polish guy trying to understand iron sight on m1 garand 😂
ОтветитьRussians made a very good weapon. Love the AK
ОтветитьThanks again for your nice clips!
ОтветитьBefore you start adjusting the sight, you need to learn how to hold the weapon correctly and aim correctly. Bullets can lie to the right or left of the aiming point due to the collapse of the weapon to the right or left of the vertical axis. You can check the correctness by the "horns" protecting the front sight. If they are parallel to the horizon, and the bullets fall to the right or left, then this is a problem with the sight. Otherwise it's your mistake. Above or below the bullets will lie if the rear sight and front sight are not aligned correctly. Therefore, do not rush into the settings if you have not mastered the correct technique of holding and aiming
ОтветитьSki uses pencils, fine front sights and other skills to turn an AK into a Dragunov......
ОтветитьSpasiba
ОтветитьVery helpful. Thank You Sir.
ОтветитьGreat Channel..
ОтветитьThank You ...
ОтветитьWhat does the P mean on the sight ??
ОтветитьThanks for the info on caveman eotec sight! Thats now burned in my mind!
ОтветитьHello. What company's muzzle device is mounted on the barrel of the 7.62x39 rifle? It looks good, but does it fulfill its functions?
ОтветитьVery good, thank you brother for letting me know how to measure my shots 💪
ОтветитьHi everyone!
Does anybody know, or can anybody measure, the width of the notch of the rear sight on the AK 47?
what about Saiga?
ОтветитьUp is down, left is right….when adjusting front sight post. 👍
