What. Product was your tailgate seal
ОтветитьWould your new LC250 make it up this trail?
ОтветитьDid you end up rearing after putting 37s on? I’ve been contemplating on what gears I wanna go with for 37. My gladiator is a daily driver and I want to try to keep the best fuel economy that I can. Just curious on your thoughts thank you and I love your videos
ОтветитьHi I have aev high capacity coil springs for JLU I'm wondering what shocks and bump stops should I use its sport model 4 door gas?
ОтветитьAround 20 years ago I drove my Cherokee on 35’s over that Pontiac the car was pretty much still a whole car back then. I’m pretty local to the arrow/big bear lakes like 30 mins away love all the random trails up there. Back in the day gold mountain was a fire road and not even a real trail was the back way out from John bull.
ОтветитьI like watching your videos. I'm planning to go camping with my jeep wrangler 4xe. I need something that would help me run my electrical pan, air conditioner, blender, microwave, air fryer,cooler,e.c.t. What would you recommend as a new camper?
ОтветитьLove watching your vlog. From the Philippines. I live there in san bernardino
ОтветитьRacing Optics windshield protection has worked great for me…… I have heard several rocks that has flipped up and so far no cracks or chipped glass. You get 3 tear offs per application and I am on my last tearoff…….. dirt and wipers eventually deteriorate the clarity is the reason for removing the layers. Feeling good that I have gotten two years on two layers and fingers crossed I can make this last layer last mid next year before ordering another set. The plus was that my wife won a drawing at JeepBeach Daytona in 2020 and It came in for a JT and not for her Cherokee TrailHawk…… Win for me 😂😅 BTW: why did you remove the red Doc band off your JT…… that looked sharp on white paint ?
ОтветитьI too was considering putting PPF film on my windshield. I live in Nebraska, and obviously we have the elements to worry about. I reached out to one of the top names in the self healing protective film for my windshield. I asked them how it withstood windows scraping when I get ice and snow on it. They responded quite quickly. But they had never considered that when they developed the product. They were supposed to get back to me and let me know how and if it held up two things like that. I have yet to heard back from them. That was the beginning of this year. I think February or March 2024. My guess would be that I would have to rely on my defrost rather than me scraping with a tool or brush. I do park my jeep in the garage. Every chance I get. Which is heated and cooled. But there are times when I am out That it is caught in a snowstorm and/or even an ice storm. That being said, I haven’t done anything yet waiting until I hear other feedback.
ОтветитьDid you regear with the 37"
ОтветитьGreat video! Question. What kind of windshield did you go with? Thanks!
ОтветитьQUESTION: Brad how would the LC have done on this trail?
ОтветитьGlad to see Regina on the trail.
On my JL I'm running AT 33" tires. If I go up to KO2 35" tires will I notice much difference in handling and I'm assuming I will be putting more stress on the Jeep components and lose some mpg with 4.56 gearing?
What are the best modifications to make to the Jeep JL to make it a comfortable ride for long distance???
We just did a round trip from Los Angeles to Phoenix and my wife was complaining the whole time about how uncomfortable the Jeep is.
Awesome video as always Brad. This video shows that you don’t have to go on an extended trip to how a great time on some easy to moderate trail just a short drive from home.
ОтветитьI have a 2004 TJ stock don’t plan to lift it. I do need shocks. What is your opinion on Fox shocks?
ОтветитьI like the changes you’ve made to the Gladiator. What product did you use to bridge the gap between the tailgate and the bed, is it Flex Tape? Great video!
ОтветитьBetter get her a new improved ride😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьHi, can you tell me how much actual measured lift over stock did you get with this lift. Thx
ОтветитьThe windshield protective films are legit.
Ответитьthere has been 2 black bears a few months ago that have been hit and died on the 15 fwy on 2 different occasions this year there out there. great VIDEO!!
ОтветитьAre you going to Overland Expo East?
ОтветитьCommentary of your beautiful wife makes your videos much better. Great Job! Way to take responsibility for the forks & your wife for getting her own kitchen kit, so she does not have to rely on you. Love the videos.
ОтветитьBrad, Love the videos and information. After meeting you at SEMA and in the hall of my Moab hotel, I really like that your just a great down to earth guy. Question is regarding brake upgrades, or not on your gladiator. Would you upgrade, or is OEM good enough?
ОтветитьWe have a place in Lake Arrowhead.. we do many of the trails in my Raptor and our SxS. Love this area. So beautiful & dynamic.
ОтветитьDisabled Navy Vet and newly diagnosed with mucosal melanoma. I love being out in my gladiator exploring all that AZ has to offer. I would go out every weekend but in July 30 I got the news that I have a rare and aggressive for of melanoma. I have always wanted to start a channel of my adventures but I didn’t feel like what I had going on would have been with purpose. Now I want to film my adventures showing the challenges that can come from traveling with cancer. Since it’s so new I figured I could document all of it. I’m just hoping for some advise on how to get started with the channel
ОтветитьWe love your videos.. me and my son hit the Canadian trails often as we are long time Fly Fishers.. because of your videos we are now on our 3rd Rubicon, this time around we opted for Gladiator Rubicon 2023 and we have done much work thanks to your advise..
Keep up the great content 👍from two guys originally from Santiago de Chile 🇨🇱 but residing in Edmonton Alberta Canada 🇨🇦..
"Thank you for your Service Sir🇺🇲"
What Rails did you use to mount the tent and the awning to the Expedition topper? I have the same topper and cant find rails to fit it.
ОтветитьWould like your thoughts on the spare tire location after you experience a rear tire puncture while on the trail. I recognize that a jack is needed to remove the flat tire, but does the jack location impede the removal of the spare tire or mounting the flat tire in the spare tire location? This was not an issue with my 1978 Datsun truck, but that was with stock tires. It became an issue when I ran oversized tires.
ОтветитьIs there any BLM land up there for an overnight stay?
ОтветитьGreat video, as always. I have had windshield protection film on my '21 JLUR for about a year and I recommend it. Prior to installing the film I went through 4 windshields in 2.5 years. From my base in Minnesota, my Jeep has been to Prudhoe Bay, Death Valley, and all over Utah and Colorado. It seemed like every trip resulted in another crack. After putting the film on I've driven over 10k miles on a variety of road surfaces and I've had several rock impacts but zero cracks. The film is great but it's not perfect. Rock impacts can leave a mark on the film. I have a couple of those impact souvenirs. Over time they "self heal" a little bit but are still noticeable. Also, I've been told that automatic carwashes can scratch the film. I don't use those carwashes so can't say whether that it true or not. Again, highly recommend the glass film.s
ОтветитьOne of my favorite spots to wheel!
ОтветитьThat exhaust is outrageous! I'd buy one if I could afford it. Maybe you could add it to your mod store? Very inventive
ОтветитьSo Beautiful seeing husband and wife on the trails together!!!!!!
Regina can now teach off reading techniques!!!!!! Brad wonderful as always!!!!!!!!
Having to endure the 15 minute sales pitch for OnX, roof top tents, 270 degree awnings. Can we see the trail yet?
ОтветитьThought experiment question for you doc, with the upmost respect. WWII Jeep ambulances had 31 inch tires and were able to conquer Europe and Africa. Are 37 inch tires really necessary? S/F
ОтветитьBrad, I have a gladiator, and it's my 4th Jeep now. I know the pain of Jeep windshields... when I got my gladiator, I tried this product called ExoShield, and I can't say enough good things about it. It's a great way to protect your windshield. And it won't break the bank.
ОтветитьHey Brad, thanks for the video, wondering if you changed your dif gearing when you went from 35's to 37's?? and very much looking forward to your video on those new shocks.........take care, Max
ОтветитьI was part of the effort to install the Alan Rowe memorial and I was interested to see if you would mention it in your video. To clarify though he had always wanted to, Alan had never actually run Heartbreak Ridge due to his Early Bronco being unfinished, Hence the selection of the trail for his memorial. After his death we helped his wife get his EB back on the road and trail worthy. She and their kids became avid 4wheelers and she was also a strong protector of the right to off-road as mayor of Yucca Valley and then a San Bernardino County Commissioner.
You actually did two trails as the first part is called "Pontiac Sluice". Was the old wrecked car still there?
From the video it looks like you went up the down part of Heartbreak Ridge trail. Though I presume that was due to your wife's inexperience, as the up part is more challenging to go up then it is coming down.
I have the same awning on my Imperial Outdoors X 195 travel trailer. It has taken a long time to become good at stowing the awning. Part of the challenge is that it is 9 feet from the ground.
ОтветитьThank you. I look forward to seeing your videos!!
ОтветитьThat looks like so much fun. One of these days I'll make it out there!
ОтветитьIt was great to see Regina and her yellow Jeep. She’s wheeling with the best of them. Wanted to ask Brad. How are you liking the longer wheelbase on the gladiator. I know you had a one before, but I also know quite a few of your friends and gladiators as well so I’m curious what you think. And are we going to see the gray Jeep anytime soon?
ОтветитьAlways enjoy the videos.
Really strange that I was thinking 35s were a bit undersized for that Jeep. And an excellent choice on the Bilstiens.
Might I say Regina is looking hot with a little longer hairstyle as well.
When I first picked up my Bronco in November of 2022, the first thing I did was install ExoShield. There are a couple of things I don’t like about it, small areas that show a prism effect and a few small areas than show small cracks or fractures when the glass is dirty. These aren’t deal breakers by any stretch of the imagination. I think they are due to issues during installation. That being said this product is excellent from a functional standpoint. In the almost two years since installation, it has saved me 8-10 broken windshields. It has taken many direct hits with small to medium rocks both on and off Highway and worked flawlessly. I live in AZ and broken windshields are common. From what I understand they now make a thicker 10 MM film specifically made for the flat windshields of Jeeps and Bronco’s. Give it a look while you are searching for a solution.
ОтветитьDang all of those folks that purchased 35” tires because you said it was more than enough only to see him rolling 37’s. LOL let’s be honest it really is best on 37-40” and a regear to 5.88 or 5-13 especially if you off road a good amount.
ОтветитьDude nice!! Did you get sponsored by Bilstein?
ОтветитьWow! So that was a 6/10?
Ответить
