Is ZZZ Worse Than Tower Of Fantasy?

The only thing worse than a bad game is a boring one. I think we all know which category ZZZ falls into.

Tower of Fantasy was at least a 6 out of 10.

There's actually combat in TOF, it might not be a great game but it's far better than ZZZ. I could only play ZZZ for a few hours lost interest due to lack of gameplay and horrible story. I still play TOF from time to time, but I won't be playing ZZZ again. For me it was just that bad.

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I think the way that ToF has their characters set up is one of the best in gacha games. You get to customize your own MC, which may not seem like much, but think about it. You can make your own waifu dude! Or make a cool character that you relate with, ya know whatever works for you. And then when characters come out, you get the character AND their weapon, so your character just continues to evolve with new weapons and moves. Rather than having to level up a whole new character, you just level the weapon instead. Don't like the way your custom MC turned out? That's fine, no problem, you can just use your favorite character instead!

Honestly, ZZZ is creative but, not my kind of creativity. 1st time I went through those TV, I said that was creative, but going thru it 2nd , 3rd and so on? I didn't grew fond of it much. And then there's the UI, it's dizzying, it's a mess, sorry but it's just based on my experience, other people may like or love it but it's not for me. The only thing I like here is the combat oh and Billy's personality.

If the TVs were only for puzzles and Hollow Zero, and they used the Rally commission type for the story, then I would enjoy the game a lot more. Even so, I'm enjoying it a LOT more than I thought I would. But maybe I had such low expectations going into it that makes it seem better.

I played WW but waiting for next patch already beat the holo fights and just bored atm as F2P minus battle pass. Having fun with ZZZ and later on the game you get punished for button mashing or just using switch combos. I don't compared the two games because ZZZ is more of instance based action fighter game while WW is a open world rpg game. One thing about ZZZ is it's very easy to play 10-20 mins a day and feel like you accomplished something.

ToF literally only got hype at the time of genshin having 0 content and sumeru was right around the corner. everyone played it while waiting for sumeru

ZZZ is just mid. TV are fucking cancer. I played ToF when it launched. It was decent imo. ZZZ is more polished but more boring. Both have give and takes.

As much as I actually enjoy ZZZ now after a few days of taking it slow and letting it sink in, I definitely think ToF's launch WAS more fun than ZZZ's first hours. I do think ToF is also kinda overhated as well, I appreciated A LOT of things that ToF did right even though I should hate their guts for all the issues they had prior to launch.

I find it kinda weird for Mtashed to say that about ToF though since it seems like it should have been up to his alley but I guess he didn't give it enough chance back then compared to how long he stuck here with ZZZ even though he was miserable.
