My first bike was a 2001 R1. I had no idea what i had but that thing was a monster
ОтветитьDo not buy this bike if you're going to leave the fender on...
ОтветитьI have 2021 zx6r & I’m fairly new to riding. I just bought a 2012 R1 & it just sits in the garage…couldn’t pass up the deal I got on it. 😂
ОтветитьYou shouldn’t drive that bike with those chicken strips lol
ОтветитьLower it! Problem solved
ОтветитьI'm 5.6 and weight 50kg and I've got a 2010 R1 and I don't have a problem with my R1 😂
ОтветитьCan you get saddle bags for the r1?
Ответитьwhat was the first reason again?:))
ОтветитьRocket... period! My 03 is still overkill for the immediate rider.
ОтветитьMy first bike , maybe 3 weeks owned is a triumph speed triple rs 1050cc 150 hp 83 ftlbs ,, I ride in street mode no issues I control the bike 100% never rode in sport or track and not planning too with additional classes but for the street and the riding I do .. I’m glad I brought a 1000cc bike
ОтветитьNo one buys a bike logically . Want it buy it
ОтветитьThis is not a beginner bike !!! Only the pros ride a R1
ОтветитьAs a teenager, I remember being told: "When you're older & get your car licence, make sure to start on no more than 1.6i or a 1.8D l until..."
Maybe I should have listened, but I always intended to drive the car & not for the car to drive me. I have no doub that it was good advice. For someone.
Old-fashioned & irresponsible, perhaps, but I do still eat safely using a knife every day & haven't cut my tongue yet.
The root of this issue - in my warped mind, at least - is associating all humans with the lowest common denominators - no offence to fractions.
20mph zones coming to you soon, if not already & "Safe Spaces" for when we're not even riding & just want to know where to buy that purpblue hair dye etc.
If you've ever boxed, done any martial arts, fencing, golf, table tennis, video gaming or high intensity masturbation, you already recognize your right wrist.
Now if you can you control when you cum - and a partner's the best arbiter of truth here if you can afford one - then buy your bike of choice, stay sane & ride free.
But, if you sometimes cum when trying your hardest not to, or you often find yourself explaining stuff like, "I couldn't pull out in time" - then yes, without a question, this video is extremely valuable for you & an additional prophylactic barrier to protect you from your horny base impulses.
Bikes vibrate... you twist harder... more vibes... more wrist... you thinking "faster, faster"... and squeeze more...harder...firmer..."MORE!!"...and then WHooOOOOSH!!!
Anyhow - Excellent job, Krish 👍 just thought I'd pass on the sage advice that I was given & my little addition to the lore which my own younglings have obviously benefitted from. 🛣🏍🏍🏍🏍 .....🛵
Overkill😂😂 naa its perfection, just like exotics car. U like power from Volvo or Skoda you dont like this kind of candy 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe Yamaha R1 is THE most selfish, impractical machine a rider could buy.... perfect. I'm picking up my 2024 this winter.😐
ОтветитьMy reasoning: I want a crossplane
ОтветитьDude you have HUGE ass chicken strips, I don't think you're the person that should be talking about buying a bike or not.
ОтветитьTbh we need to have laws like other countries that doesnt allow people to get bigger bikes without experience….thats why the statistics are wild with crashs
ОтветитьI feel like anything way above 60hp is just too much unused power for the streets of my country
I would personally get a 2 stroke 125 or a inline 4 250cc, sadly can't buy one of those because of emissions regulations
I just picked up a 01 R1 this week with 15k on the motor… It’s absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been riding since 99 and it’s always been my dream bike. I owned a 01 R6 champions edition back in 06. I regret that I ever sold it.
ОтветитьIt just is killing me that people are asking only a few thousand less than a brand new R1 for a 2020 R6 is insane to me
ОтветитьI have enough experience im tall enough for the r1 i just dont have the money to have it what an life mann i want one so bad
ОтветитьMan get what you want just respect the machine because these 1000cc bikes aren’t forgiving
ОтветитьThe power can’t be toned down?? How about your right hand on the throttle
ОтветитьBack when I was a teenager in the 70's in Ireland all you could get were Honda's and Yamaha's at least where I lived so my judgement is still clouded by that even today. I was a Honda guy back then - a Honda CB 125 was my dream bike. The Yamaha's were all ugly compared to the Honda's, they sounded weird and smoked a lot so even an R1 today still gets the "Oh its a fucking yamaha" negative vibe in my head straight away. Nowadays my bikes are Ducati's (V2 + Monster), BMW S1k, Kawasaki ZRX 1200RR, Triumph Thruxton R and my Lifan E3 electric moped. I never owned a personal Honda or Yamaha bike - was a bike cop for years on police Honda's. Only 600 I ever owned was a Suzuki Bandit bought new in 2000.
ОтветитьUr a clown.. doesnt matter i buy 1st motorcycle pgm v8.. cmon man
ОтветитьA 600 is overkill if you want to speak on too much everyone might as well get a 3-400cc bike if you talking about being able to max a bike out and stick to speed limit
ОтветитьDam I gotta re watch so I can stay disciplined 😭
ОтветитьI ride 2016 R1 the best thing going is the sound for sure but definitely not for short riders it’s a tall bike other than that amazing motorcycle
Ответитьbasically its too good for me. ill get it one day looks too fucking beautiful lemme learn to ride and get a job first.
ОтветитьDont get a grom as beginner start with 300 or 600
ОтветитьJust buy the 05 -2011 r1 with the flat plane engine if you don’t like the sound of the newer cross plane engine.. the I got an 06 r1 because it sounds so much better and picks up speed better in low rpms, plus it’s just you and the bike no electronics!
ОтветитьIt looks and sounds so awesome :)
ОтветитьI felt like you should have been honest and said "its your pride" that keeps you going back vs "I dont know" lol Great video though. THanks!
ОтветитьI grow weary of so many folks that don't know sheet yet want to tell everyone that they know it all. Any supersport bike isn't meant for the street, you can't ride a 600 to it's limits. Ultimately, if you don't know how to ride learn on a lower HP bike, nothing is more fun than going fast on a slow bike. I taught On One Wheel and at the California Superbike School. Learn to ride a dirtbike, then a small CC bike then step up. Enjoy the experience, read books and take a school or 6. Learning what a bike needs is key. There will be plenty of time to kill or mame yourself after you think you know how to ride. Ride fun!
ОтветитьForgot to mention the poor fuel range. Big Bang 2010 bikes are so thirsty for a 17 litre tank.
Ответитьi mean to see if i’ll change my mind based on telling me things that were on your mind?
nah. not a bit.
i love the r1 and will be purchasing it as my 2nd bike owned.
Never been on a motorcycle before but im in the market for my first bike and i think i found it
Ответитьzx10r and zx1k are the same bike
ОтветитьAny one can start on a r1 the real question is are you responsible rider a responsible rider would most likely not to drop the bike you can lower the bike
ОтветитьMight just be too tall of a bike for me… could lower it
ОтветитьI rode an R1 10yrs ago and knew instantly it was too much. Loved my R6
ОтветитьI love both the sound of a screaming Ferrari V12 and the sound of a NASCAR.
At the end of the day, that sound is communicating to you the power and you can sense/feel that poower and that's what makes the sound exciting.
You can make your R3 sound a little better than stock but beyond that, you're just making noise and being obnoxious, there's nothing there but 42 HP so keep it real.
My first bike was a 09 R1, cause i knew what i wanted. On the test ride the owner saw me trying to hit the modes & said "No, sir. Before i sell it to you, you need to ride in A mode around the lot." 8yrs so far. I did take a Honda rider course a few months before purchasing.
ОтветитьMy first motorcylce was a showroom floor new 2013 R1. Never had a bike before, and had never riden one. The R1 was great. Never went down, and had a lot of fun teaching myself how to ride. Everyone said I was crazy, but as long as you act like an adult, any bike can be a beginner bike.
ОтветитьYou have not stopped me from buying one. I used to ride bikes many years ago and still ply on my nephews R3. I don`t have to ride the R1at full tilt every time i throw a leg over. So buying one next week.
ОтветитьAt good skydiving clubs the current senior guys will advise you about high performance canopies...for the individual biker, that doesn't belong to a serious club ...it's at your own peril 😂😂😂😂...good luck?
ОтветитьPower? Too much is almost enough 😊
ОтветитьLets just say that a true motorcyclist doesn't buy a motorcycle for practical or logical reasons. The motorcyclist would buy it because of the connect the rider would feel with the machine. Yes the 1000cc super sports are basically human operated ballistic missiles on the road, and are not beginner's motorcycles by any stretch of imagination, but they are also the bleeding edge of motorcycle tech and just owning one and seeing her parked in the garage is exhilarating enough
