It's worth mentioning that the present documentary failed to provide a factual or concise overview of the events leading up and during the Balkan war by omitting to acknowledge all war victims and casualities of that unfortunate conflict (including the hundreds of thousands of Serbs that were ethnically cleansed out of the territory of the present day Croatia). Instead the same anti-Serb rhetoric that defined the Western pro-war narrative coverage of the Balkan war at the time is also evident in many so called documentaries covering the events of that period, including this one. Credible and ethical journalism is non-biased and factual. This is lazy jornalism at best. An omission of facts pertaining to events to foster a one-sided biased view is also offensive and disrespectful to the individuals and families who lived and suffered in this conflict.

This documentary has no bases in reality! It's all pure propaganda, however, that Yugoslav civil war was the 'wake up call' for Russia. The 'collective west' have dismembered Yugoslavia and Serbia under the false pretenses during the '90s! Russians saw "the writing on the wall" in what's awaiting for them, too - so they invested heavily into the military armament! The "Coup in Ukraine in 2014" and bombing of Donbas - populated by ethnic Russians - have eventually drawn Russia into the Ukrainian civil war. Thanks to the NATO's "dress rehearsal" in the Balkans (Yugoslavia), Russia was ready to successfully resist NATO intervention in Ukraine!
