Pouso do Rochedo is 100s OF MILES from the Amazon. It's like someone planting a woodland near Chicago and calling it a Pacific Temperate Rainforest. Get a map, read a book, take a class...do something but learn a little geography.

I'm in awe of this man, wow.

Animal agriculture remains prime cause of rainforest depletion, responsible for 97% of amazon tree felling. When animals eat much more than humans...

One can make a difference by choosing plant-based alternatives to meat and dairy.

In truth, no plant gives such high a yield as fruit-bearing trees...seemingly abundant if left to thrive.

Fantastic job he did. I hope someone comes to check on this man regularly, because at his age anything can happen and he doesn't seem to have a family other than his trees. I also hope someone could be found ready to take over his life's work. I sincerely wish for it.
