"my oxygen wasn't quite turned on enough..." Please know that you're breathing compressed AIR during recreational scuba diving. Breathing pure oxygen at depth can
can cause O2 toxicity. Breathing pure O2 at 47 meters can cause death. Air is comprised of approx. 19% oxygen and 80% nitrogen. I know it sounds like I'm being a smartass, but
advanced divers (technical divers) will sometimes use pure O2 for shallow portions of their dive (6-7 meters) to help with decompression. If a thoughtless recreational diver strapped
on a O2 bottle and went down to 20-30 meters for any length of time, they risk having oxygen toxicity and convulsions (which may cause drowning and death).

So just to be clear, you are breathing AIR (which is mostly a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen) during your average recreational dive.

Claire you were once a mermaid, you have diving experience silly lol 😂
So therefore, it could not have taken that much of a toll on your body
if you can swim just fine with a mermaid tail, you can do it in the film just as good
