Haven't got recommended this channel in a while but all I remember about it is his gf is pretty hot and kinda out of his league. No offense. Just what stuck with me the most from watching this channel before.

WHY cannot a China company make an exact copy or close to copy of such an old system? These units are so clunky and garbage looking. I just dont get it???

Even at $40 these are a rip off. Emulator handhelds with opensource software is likely better. My gameboy of choice is an RG35xx. I like it

The result was expected, Made in china doesnt always mean junk... They do make some primo stuff that's top shelf by anyone's stands; but you pay for it. Sure it's cheaper than made elsewhere, but only slightly. My father was an engineer at company that used optics in it's products and Zeiss kept getting more and more expensive and Cosina stopped serving that market, they found a Chinese company that matched the specs and were as consistent, however the per element cost went down only by 25-30% from made in Germany, and was still thousands of dollars per lens.

To me, the strongest reason to get an original GBA instead of a retro emulation handheld such as the Anbernic RG35XX is that the original GBA has very low specs, only enough to run native GBA games, therefore it lasts more than 10 hours on AA batteries. That kind of optimization is something that got me impressed.

Can you do multiplayer with the Gamebox?

You can buy nearly spotless Nintendo DS Lites with authentic high-quality hardware, the ergonomics and screens are better, and they play both the GBA and DS game libraries for $45 each, all day without even trying to search. They are the single most underrated OEM Nintendo console in existence. I have to assume that, like myself, many people who played GBC and GBA games and never owned a DS, just don't know a DS Lite is also a Gameboy advance AGS-101 effectively. I just learned that myself 2 months ago and have bought 20 consoles to stock up on because there's a zero percent chance they'll remain this cheap for much longer.

it goes without saying,obviously do not buy any of those! they are not real gameboys!

In my case I bought a Powkiddy v90 "red" (yeah these colors are different, mine is an orange-red) for £40, a bargain for emulating other consoles.

I have bought 3-4 of those and they are not worth the money. They are from cheap plastic and broke down quickly. Also they don't refund money if you prove the item is defected. I have bought 4 from Treasure Game Accessory Store from AliExpress.
