Hard to see any advantages of X over 2H after the 2D overcall. Maybe u find pd with 55 in the blacks, but probs still find that after a 2H response.

DLDWW. I sold out on 3, which is theoretically correct but as is so often the case wrong in practice. On 4, I doubled then bid 3N, which is a little dodgy but with the layout +630. On 5, I started with 2S and ended in 3; I got a 3C bid by W on the way so I picked up the hearts.

B2 was my only loss today. I didn't compete to 3H, as I thought they miiiiight not make it, and maybe I go down two in 3H, or they double me and then even going down one is bad... Good rationale as to why competing to 3H is good (though theoretically, if they double you and you go down one, it's bad).

#2 we got to 4H - not good
#3 I started with a weak 1NT - Oppo only found 3H
#4 found and made 4H - I preferred 2H rather than X
#5 Stopped in 3S and actually made it somehow

#2 Misdefended and let them make 3S. I thought declarer had 5 spades and it was pointless to play a 3rd round of C.

#4 4H+1, this is why I don't think negative X is a better option
#5 3S=, I only bid 2S
