I used to study Law and I dropped out my 3rd year because I didn't like it. Now I'm doing a culinary degree and I started to study french because I'd like to work in a 3 Michelin star restaurant in Paris.
Btw love your videos, keep it up man!
I worked as a senior web and app dev for a large IT firm for six years before buying in and taking over all their clients and establishing my own web dev firm (focused on industrial and government clients). Ran that firm for another six years before deciding to completely shift my priorities. I had always joked about "retiring" by 35, so when I turned 35 I closed down my office building, shut down the firm, and pursued my lifelong passion for tabletop role-playing games. Now I'm a freelance game designer working for about three dozen game publishers including several of the industry's big names. I've spent the past five years earning a good living by making and playing games and I'm loving it. Sometimes you just have to take a risk and jump into the unknown to see what happens.
ОтветитьI’m working full-time at a big Japanese manufacturing company and also part-time as a freelance videographer. I’m extremely struggling with managing both though haha
Anyway, I love your vlog style! Keep up your great work, Barrett!👊
So... what are you going to do? 😂
ОтветитьCant believe a country as smart as Japan is still wearing / mandating masks. But then again we all know the story of the Japanese Legal system[now], with Mr. Goshen has been shining a light on that corrupt and inhumane government system. But we like you channel Barrett.
ОтветитьMahalo Kuya Barrett. Reflecting so far just on the grind with my nursing career. Well the pseudo post COVID status in the States but work is work. Its all routine and chill for me. I hope for your success in your projects, when that one project strikes it big then you will be part of the club eh? Until next video.
ОтветитьEach of your videos has different context and meaning to them they are really good keep on making them and a qn what would you say to a person who wants to move to Japan after their bachelors for further studies ?
ОтветитьAnother great, insightful video. Loved getting a "fly on the wall" perspective on what your group of professionals is thinking. I think that the pandemic has caused a lot of people to recalibrate their priorities. People have been isolated, and sorry techies, but online communication is not how humans are "wired". Really though, as I move about the city and watch what people are doing, even peeking at what they are looking at on their devices, I wonder what's really going on. Looking at social media and news websites may not actually reflect the zeitgeist.
