Vendée Globe Boxing Day Update - Battles throughout the fleet!

We are all thrilled over the women participant's, 10. Justine Mettraux 12. Clarisse Cremer & 13. Samantha Davies who all three are in serious contention with the grueling and physically draining epic Vendee Globe. This emotional contest, being isolated and the 24 hour physical arduous tasks necessary to endure takes both courage and training.

Cold in "Biotherm?" Add some more bio I guess.

Thanks for the updates. Can you imagine how frightening this kind of journey would have been 300 years ago? And I wonder what a sailor from 300 year ago would think of these crazy little boats and even crazier sailors.

After 6300 miles they are 7/8 miles apart.... it looks like a match race all the way home

Enjoying these updates very much. Not least because of the presentation (not sure of name, sorry) give in a normal, relaxed way without the exaggerated arm waving and speaking loudly, in bold capitals, that is currently favoured across all the media these days. Thank you so much! As for the race, well I'm loving it all - the front breakaway pair through the pack, and of course. Pips glorious slow boat ride.
