What's a Creed....Very funny, Mr. Durante
ОтветитьThe Grass Roots were the first band I ever saw live. It was on my 16th birthday. I'm 66 now. I'll never forget it. The Band that played with them was the Raspberries.
ОтветитьJust airbrushed the lyrics of this song on a T-shirt, cried all thru the painting of it; dedicated to my new wife; she complained about the lyrics!
ОтветитьThis song was byThe ROKES….the GRASS ROOTS were a made up MONKEYS type band…..all cover songs by professional songwriters…..Rob Grille was a fake!
ОтветитьThis song is old but a masterpiece in any era
Ответить👌
ОтветитьWish they'd played LIVE, instead of lip synching.
ОтветитьWhy was Durante introducing them?????
ОтветитьStupenda
ОтветитьCREED!!! :)
ОтветитьOne of The Grass Roots best songs ever but love all the songs they have sung !Saw them in concert 2 or 3 times in my life ! I am going on 66 years old !
ОтветитьTry to listen to the original Piangi con me Italian song by The Rokes

ОтветитьCreed:)
ОтветитьIntroduced by the one and only schnozolla himself Jimmy Durante.
ОтветитьThe Office's Creed Bratton
ОтветитьSong written by Shel Shapiro, english songwriter, guitarist, pianist, vocalist, leader of group The Rokes, English band emigrated in Italy in the Sixties.
ОтветитьWow, Jimmy Durante. Such a blast from the past
ОтветитьDoes anyone know I w what year this was?
ОтветитьI'm 16 years old bout be 17 in December and this song is one of the greatest songs I've heard from 1967 besides Elvis Presley Big Boss Man and Tommy James and the Shondells I think We're Alone Now
ОтветитьLive for today while you plan for tomorrow.
Or don't cry to me when tomorrow shows up empty handed.
Tomorrow has a habit of becoming today, then yesterday very fast.
Enjoy today while you prepare for tomorrow.
So soulfull so sensual talking about the love between a man and woman priceless... yeah the 60s and 70s did that hopefully we will have that once again 🌼🍄🌿☮️✌🏻
ОтветитьWhen you been a single person for many years in life ( a bachelor) it gets difficult when you reach out and love is not there yes suicidal thoughts sometimes. Life is very rough without love but peaceful and quiet. The sadness comes a person can go through a long lifetime without love from birth to 100 years old. I did know of a person like that. Yeah he was 100 years old and he had no love ever in his lifetime no girlfriend or no marriage 100 years WOW he did live a very long life 💙
ОтветитьLove, love, love this song!!! 😁😄
ОтветитьThey didn't have any bad songs
ОтветитьI wonder what he stole from the set
Ответитьlov'ittttttt!!! <3
ОтветитьCreed from The Office 😮
ОтветитьAs a US Air Force brat, The Grass Roots came to the based where I lived, when I was 14-15 years old, to perform for Air Force personnel. I was able to get 2 left over tickets for myself and a close friend. Cost me $2.00. They performed in an air plane hanger. 65 years old now and still love their music. Wish we had music like this today.
ОтветитьThis Song and Laugh Laugh were the best songs of this era
ОтветитьWhat are those guitars?
ОтветитьCreed!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьSaw them at Epcot probably around 2007. They were still great
ОтветитьWhen I think of all the worries that people seem to find
And how they're in a hurry to complicate their minds
By chasing after money and dreams that can't come true
I'm glad that we are different, we've better things to do
When others plan their future, I'm busy loving you
One, two, three, four
Shah-la, la-la-la-la, live for today
Shah-la, la-la-la-la, live for today
And don't worry 'bout tomorrow, ay-ay-ay
Shah-la, la-la-la-la live for today (live for today)
We were never meant to worry the way the people do
And I don't need to hurry as long as I'm with you
We'll take it nice and easy, and use my simple plan
You'll be my lovin' woman, I'll be your lovin' man
We'll take the most from living, have pleasure while we can
Two, three, four
Shah-la, la-la-la-la, live for today, ay-ay-ay
Shah-la, la-la-la-la, live for today
And don't worry 'bout tomorrow, ay-ay-ay
Shah-la, la-la-la-la, live for today (live for today)
Baby, I need to feel you inside of me
I got to feel you deep inside of me
And baby, please, come close to me
I've got to have you now, please, please, please, please
Gimme some lovin', just gimme some lovin'
Gimme some lovin', just gimme some lovin'
Baby, gimme some lovin', just gimme some lovin'
I got to have all your love (gimme some lovin')
Babe, I need all your love (gimme some lovin')
And now I need all your lovin' (la-la-la-la-la-la-la)
Shah-la, la-la-la-la, live for today
Shah-la, la-la-la-la, live for today
And don't worry 'bout tomorrow, ay-ay-ay
Shah-la, la-la-la-la, live for today (no, no, no, no)
Shah-la, la-la-la-la, live for today...
