How to Make Blackened Catfish (Easy Recipe)

Ingredients:

4 catfish fillets
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your preferred level of spiciness)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

In a small bowl, combine paprika, dried thyme, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the blackening spice mixture.
Pat the catfish fillets dry with paper towels.
