For the experts:

I have a book where the cover is upside down compared to the text. Any extra value? (Not a first edition but it is a well known book)

Also, I have a collection of the same book but I’m working on gathering each printing. ie: 1939 first printing, 1939 second printing….1947 May, 1947 October….etc. does that create any value as a whole collection?

It was difficult to tell what he was saying, the music was too loud.

The background music was annoying. Hard to understand the speaker.

What about tour books from other countries from the 60s, 70s? Are they worth anything?

Whoever edited this, made the music much too loud. It covers up what Ken Sanders is saying. Background music is supposed to be kept in the background. I am a musician who has produced 8 albums, so I have some experience in this area.

You want a first edition BUT YOU REALLY want the “first printing of the first edition”!!!
A first edition can have dozens of printings. It’s really the “first printing” that has greatest value.

Tip #5: If there is a high availability of decent (1st ed with DJ!) copies of a very, very popular book, available at a good price, buy & store them! ;)

I have some old books from 1800s early 1900s and the prints,, are so find and detailed, and on special paper, unlike the rest of the pages where it is just letters. It's like they took extra care to make these amazing prints.
