Well that different, normally they dont put enough liquor in the drinks, never too much lol. Sorry the brunch was a let down, it did all look beautiful, glad the ambiance was nice though. I know yall dont want to leave a bad review, its hard, but its a great video for people to watch and then they can make a decision based on yall experience. Great informative video as always!

What a disappointment, I don't recall the last time you rated something so low (I know you mentioned you have). You are right, the presentation looked so good too. I would have been happy with just the cornbread.

I’m picking up some big time Dollywood vibes from this place! 😍 Culinary offerings aside, the theming is a nice touch. I love that they actually do serve water and some other drinks in literal mason jars. The chicken and waffles looked delicious - absolutely tragic that the food didn’t taste as good as it looked, but at least that particular dish wasn’t as big of a disappointment. I can’t quite remember; did you all do a Tennessee Moonshine tasting while you were in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area? I feel like once you have some of the 90-proof flavors that taste like straightup gasoline, you’d probably barely notice the strength of the PB Old Fashioned haha but this was definitely a helpful video, even though your breakfast didn’t turn out to be as good as you might have hoped. Whoa the cinnamon roll 🫨😁. Most everything in these restaurants are excellent. Great to hear an honest review of the Mason Jar. I've seen it before but never tried it. We sailed on The Wonder of the Seas around time it was first launched. I hope they lower the prices soon so we can go again.

I love brunch and would so disappointed if it wasn't fantastic. The theming and views are fantastic. I prefer less-strong drinks too, especially if I'm eating. The menu looked great, shame the food didn't stand up to expectations. OMG that cinnamon roll! How can that not be good??!! What a letdown. Boo! Shame it's specialty dining and you have to pay extra. Thanks for sharing and being honest.

Southern comfort food now that would attract us in! Haha do like the theming around this restaurant. Those bourbon cocktails sound right up our street! Those little pb&j sandwiches were so cute but a shame they were stale 😂haha the syrup jars are cute 😂 such a shame the food looks better than it tastes cos just looks alone it would make us want to go there! 0 for the biscuits ouch! I think all those people would put me off straight away. I might also make me need a drink at 11am. Whilst the food looked great it sounded pretty poor going down the neck. Then again it did all look a bit overly sweet for my taste. I might need to wash it down with one of those burning cocktails. I take it you only went there once judging from your review 🙂

Hi guys this is a great looking restaurant with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean! Boy those cocktails sound strong but fab! Why did Greg order mint if he doesn’t like mint 😂 don’t think we have ever tried corn bread! Oh no Greg’s face says it all! Everything looks a little too sweet for us! No this was a true review the food didn’t look the best! You did this great guys such a shame looks a lovely place! Note just visit here if you want strong cocktails 😂 great review guys! ❤️

Now the food LOOKS incredible, but what a bummer to hear what it tasted like. Honestly the title of this video surprised me because you are so positive, Meg! Thanks for sharing an honest and thorough review of this restaurant. Love a good mint julep, but I'm not a fan of overly strong drinks either, but Dave would probably love it. No surprise with lots of bourbon and moonshine drinks for a southern themed restaurant. The cornbread sounded delicious with the mix of jalapeño and pimento. Bummer about the biscuits and gravy, those are a southern staple, sad to hear they missed the mark on those and some of the other dishes too. That cinnamon roll looked amazing, so sad to hear it was dry, that is crazy and a huge bummer.

With a name like Mason Jar, I was really expecting them to serve everything in mason jars. Seems like a missed opportunity.

I'm not a super big fan of mint either, but probably would have ordered the mint julip if I was at a country restaurant too. Southern food isn't probably my favorite genre of food, so we probably wouldn't have gone there anyways. I find chicken for breakfast to be so weird. lol Since we don't go to pay restaurants on the cruises very often, we definitely won't try here as we would be so disappointed to pay for food and find it not good. This is special, enjoying a lovely delicious meal while enjoying ocean view.

You're on vacation so every hour is 5pm, so don't worry about showing up at 11 to have a drink or two! Shame about the food - but this is important information to pass on as others would likely feel exactly the same way.

Are you able to have more than one main or dessert?

That does have to be the worst biscuits and gravy I’ve ever seen.

So the old fashioned tastes like an old fashioned? Old Fashioneds are literally alcohol, bitters and a splash of simple syrup or a sugar cube. What were you expecting?

Why wouldnt you send the food back for a added cost restaurant when on a cruise? Get your money back. If you are paying for the food it needs to be up to your standards
