Nick, has alien DNA in his ass! What a hero what a complete alpha male. The next time you see a guy that is timid God made him that way because he put too much alpha and Nick.

I’m a certified prosthetist, I also wear bilateral prosthetics (below the knee) due to a birth anomaly. Speaking as a lower extremity prosthetic user and provider, what Nick has accomplished is beyond exceptional. The mental and physical grit this man is capable of is inspiring. I’ve been encouraging my patients to watch this interview because Nick truly demonstrates that when theres a will, there’s a way. Thanks Shawn for another phenomenal story.

So far every srs podcast that I’ve watched has been so good and interesting. I’ve learned so much in the past few weeks. But DJ Shipley, Tyler Vargas Andrews, and Nick Lavery have been the 3 where I couldn’t stop watching. They are so good at describing the scene. Have amazing stories of bravery. I have more respect for our veterans than ever before. 💚
