Awesome, love your guitar tone. Which strings gauge do you use?

Hey dude I just want to say that your an amazing guitarist and an excellent teacher. I just got a new strat and fender blues jr amp and I was wondering if I could get that amazing tone with the guitar plugged straight in or any kind of pedal. Appreciate it.

If you're trying to play like Jimi and are in doubt about what to play next, just hammer on then bend and hold til you figure out your next lick lol. Great playing and I really dig the camera angle you use. What is that between your middle and neck pick up anyhow? Is that a humbucker or something for the camera or what?

Great job. Amazing tone. You must be tuned down to like D or C# to get that tone

I've never seen those pickups before, and I can't find them with my Google powers...the hell are they?

This mysterious jimi guy must've been pretty influential.

Very Cool! Thanks.
Hey, since I usually play regular tuning, when I downtune a whole step my Fenders go out of tune a lot. (part of Jimi's curse?) Do I need to get a guitar set up specifically for the lower tuning?
Longtime Jimi fan, I REALLY like this series.

Anthony, you just blew my mind. I have known what a great player you are from your lessons and other video's. This just killed everything you've done in the past. Totally awesome!!!! I loved it. Now I'm going to buy it and learn it. Thank you...

Silly question, but what's the thing that looks like a band-aid on your guitar between the pickups for?

Texas Blues Alley , your videos are great! I've been playing punk/metal for about 14 years now and have recently begun to REALLY get into the blues and blues inspired rock (a la the Hendrix sound in your lessons). Hence, your lessons have been life savers... really showing me the technique and musical reasoning behind the sound that I've recently fallen in love with. Thank you for your videos, and whenever I get a little extra cash together, you can rest assured I will certainly be purchasing the Jimi's Influence lessons (or, would you recommend a different one?). Cheers!

Oh man... Im sure you get this all the time, but I completely idolizes hendrix through my teens, consider myself a jimi expert in the highest order ; )  ... you freakin nailed it man. I mean the FIRE is there, and that is truly what most people miss when they try to emulate hendrix, they dont understand what he was trying to do they just try to play the notes, Bravo!
now again at the expense of saying what someone else already has, can you tell us about the gear? the guitar, pedals, and amp sound phenomenal, obviously hear the octave fuzz sound but which pedal did you use... Thank you and keep goin!!!

This comment i can't help i am sorry...  I am saying this about the why it is hard to sound like hendrix video...  explained in two sentences...

SRV----- used alcohol and cocaine.... energetic barreled straight ahead....
JIMI-------  used alcohol and heroine... he was higher than space......
I love em both to death  my two favorite guitar players EVER...

The drug of choice is the difference mostly.... In my opinion..

Fantastic guitar playing. But NOBODY has EVER had the innate sense of musical timing that Jimi did and THAT is why it is EASY to tell when it is Jimi and when it isn't. You really are a hell of a guitar player, though.

You really get close to the bends and vibrato Hendrix used - that is why no-one really sounds like him. the longer Voodo Child from ELL is the best minor pentatonic blues ever recorded.
