You plant only the eyes of the potatoes in non acidic and not to wet loamy soil so the potato has room to expand!

That was a Perfect Drop on the White Birch. Get some Great Bark to stash away for Hikes, etc anywhere you go & might need some help sparking a fire to stay warm or eat.. plus great firewood. Im new today on your channel. I watch your other vids to find out Where you built, how much land etc. looks absolutely gorgeous in the area you picked.. happy for you my friend My Brother in God Above.
I agree with just sitting for awhile to listen to Nothing But Nature. Sooo hard to come by sounds such as those.. I was thinking… if you build a box sized slightly larger than would hold a wine bottle, leave both ends open, and mount it to the wall standing on end close to the floor, you can put your door bar in that when you take it off. Then it has a place, out of the way, easy to reach, etc.
anyway, just a thought.

Love the autumn / fall , definitely my favourite time of year, there in Alaska where you are looks so peaceful, hardly a sound when you were sitting by that lake , pure heaven to me , and your log burner , burning I think it so relaxing I could literally sit there all day with a cup of coffee just watching the flames .

I’m surprised you guys would leave your cabin without setting it up for the next visit.

You already know this but I am talking from experience, having heated with wood for over thirty years. Always have wood and kindling for the next fire, you never know and fire may mean life or death.

Your videos are so professional. How do you shot from the air? And distance of yourself? Do you use a droan?
However you do it, its very enjoyable!

I understand about the quiet.....here on our farm in Kentucky l, we are blessed to be able to set on the back porch and hear nothing but birds, wind, and far far off sounds of nature. Enjoy!!

Those blueberries you found a little frozen, if so , pick alot , boil for 2 , 3 minutes , take them out , smush them into a blue berry sauce to put on steak etc..

If you need something like paper to start fire use the cardboard in your tp roll.
